What are the benefits of having two hacked switches , if any ?
This question might be getting interesting because of the upcoming modchips Sx Core and Sx Lite.

Of you have 2 hacked switches the benefit would be if you got banned online on one switch, you can play for another hour online using the other.

Maybe play co-op for the games that require 2 systems? not sure which games that'd be though.

^^^^ Certain Mario Party mini-games could make use of this, like that tank mini-game. Could also play 1v1 Splatoon. I think the newest Wolfenstein has co-op also. As long as the games support LAN play, it should work.

Can always use a 2nd SD card for linux/android, and now it seems you don't even need the 2nd card. I guess it would be nice not having to reboot to change the OS.

If you don't have someone to play co-op with, I think it's more useful to have one not hacked for online play. Just so you don't have to worry about a ban.

I don't see any benefits in my opinion. Have one legit and one hacked.

Personally I would have a hacked lite for outside and keep my main switch docked, but transferring saves would be a huge pain. Maybe someone could make one that works over ftp or something, but that already sounds like a hassle.

If one gets banned or bricked you’ll have a backup Switch available. As long as you can afford it, why not?

Local multiplayer, ban recovery and better backup, and my personal favorite the ease of trial and error when trying out new homebrews

You can run L4T, switchroot and emummc on each switch with a big enough SD card on both and try all sorts of things.

Also.. I second that on keeping two switches for the bitches especially if they are both modded, for netplay

I agree with @LyuboA the other switch should only be your backup you can technically dualboot your switch to run ofw/cfw.

why not just have a switch in EVERY room haha. I wish man. I sure do love unpatched switches. Only limit is money. One thing i will add as one who keeps two at the ready always. Sometimes it is a bit of a hassle managing all the sd cards and apps/homebrew. So more than two would be a bit much for me. Two I find is just right.

I find it quite useful.
I have 2, one with a trinket with ofw/cfw as my main portable workhorse, and a banned one I keep in the living room with a HDD attached for when i want to just mount and play xcis on the big tv to check other stuff out quickly.
Lazy but saves having to keep moving stuff around.
