no you have to drop and pick up lmao
so i ended up using edizon instead but you're missing a few items, i didn't see book in there. some furniture items, i think, included patterns but that's not cataloguable.
i have this file i found from cheatslips, but i'm unsure how far this catalogues. this is just furniture, not fish or anything.

Hey, i got a question:

If you got a hacked switch and a legit switch and go with the hacked one to the island of the legit one via local play, can you use Cheats like Edizon or would that cause a high risk ban chance for the legit switch?

I've been doing this to landscape my island on the switch that isn't hacked. Using text to item to get flowers, bushes, trees, etc. So far I haven't had any issues, but I haven't been doing it for long. Just a few weeks.

Book is definitely in there. Part 49, along with the four variants.

Also I'm pretty sure I didn't include any furniture+custom patterns, as those are not in my personal database.

Edit: Looking at my database, I'm completely sure I didn't miss anything that's catalogable. Use nhi if you don't want to miss anything, as you can make mistakes using the cheats

oh no i meant NHSE. i don't want to lose the items in my storage so i'm okay not filling it with every item. i just want a complete catalog with nothing messing with the critterpedia.

Thanks, already fixed the files I had, perhaps the cheatlips one does not include the walls and wallpapers, I noticed the last few split files, there are no variations to them, looked at a few of the ids, and they were wallpapers/flooring

ohhh ok so they both have wedding + paintings? id hope so, even though cheatslips is older it was still built on 1.2.0 still has the same items as 1.2.1

You can trust the one I uploaded! Includes every single variation of items, clothing, walls, wallpapers, posters and music that are catalogable. So it's not every single item. Only the ones you can buy from the catalogue.

Still, 8200+ items is a whole lot. wow

You can't buy paintings or wedding items from the catalogue, so those are not included.

Well one thing i noticed as I'm going through it, baby chairs, there's only 7 catalogueable variations, the rest are customized patterns, which don't show in the catalogue, as i'm making my catalog island, i wonder how many of these i'll run into

there are 35 baby chairs in the file

Oh I see now what you guys mean. The script I wrote basically adds all the items' variants if the original base item is catalogable. I can fix that if it's too much of a problem.

Also, I believe NHSE can give you all recipes already.

I would love just the variants that show in catalogue

since that's all i'd be dropping on the island itself, like the baby chairs for example, had to just drop every 5th one, and looking at all the other files, it does indeed happen on other pattern customizable items, thank you!
