Hello everyone!
After my last post, I went and got a top screen LCD to repair my dsi XL. At first the repair was successful, the dsi turned on and every button seemed to be working.
Then I realized that the camera doesn't work. I wanted to see if it's a damaged cable or I just didn't connect it right, so I reopened the dsi and went back all the way to the top to check. Putting it back together one speaker wire broke off on the top side, so I soldered it back on, but apart from that I don't think I did much more.
When I went and checked if the dsi is still turning on, it got no power. :( The battery didn't get recognized at all. I think power might still bee passing between the two boards, because it does flicker the orange light if I plug it in (when I disconnect the ribbon that joins the two boards it doesn't).
How probable is that my dsi was killed, and can it be fixed?
Any answer would be appreciated, thank you in advance!

I should also add that I tried checking the power board if it had any problems. I couldn't see anything particularly bad, apart from the connection place being a tad bit dirty. I re soldered the wires just in case.

So the charging light is just flashing on and off? That means the system doesn't have a battery or there's a problem with the connection or something
That wire with a black and red wire is used to connect the battery power itself and that ribbon cable is used to connect the buttons and lights

It's probably the connector wires or the battery connector itself that somehow died. I don't how though, since all I did was just check the camera cable connection again.

Alright, I'm not the best at using multimeters But I got some results:
When plugged in, the charger port is giving me the full 5v (blue), the power connection (green) is giving me a little less power, around 4v. The baterry connector (red) gives me even less power, only around 2v max.

What voltage do you have on the battery and do you get proper continuity between both the ground and positive lines from the battery contacts to the white connector or the main board?
My battery is giving me 4.18 volts, even though it says 3,7 on the battery label.
The battery contact is a little weird, if I test it be putting the positive needle on the white connector, and the negative side on the battery connector it gives me around 4v. If I do the opposite (negative on the white connector and positive on the battery connector) it only gives around 2v.

So I guess if i'm understanding it right there's a voltage difference between the battery contacts and the white connector? Does your multimeter have a continuity mode and if it does can you check continuity between the black wire part of the white connector/negative battery contact and red wire part of the connector/positive battery contact?

I'm not sure if I was using the right mode, but I think I might just have fried my DS for real..
I use the mode that beeped when you put the needle together, so I think that it's the continuity tester. I tried first with the charging port, it made a beep, the I tried it on the white power connector and it gave nothing. I looked at the DSi and it wasn't giving any more light at all.
Could I have fried the whole thing by placing the negative and positive wire incorrectly?

Yes that's the right mode now and probably not, just don't have the thing connected to any power while doing the tests if you want to be sure
How exactly are you trying it? Try doing it to the battery contact with one wire of the multimeter and the other one to a contact on the white connector (doesn't matter which wire is positive/negative)

I did have it connected to power unfortunately. The battery gives a noise but only if i put the needle on opposite connections. Nothing seems to work on the board though :(

The continuity mode is about checking if whatever you're touching with the first wire of the multimeter is making contact with the other wire so it beeps if you touch the wires with each other without anything in between and so it doesn't depend on any power in the device
What do you mean with trying the charging port? Did you just put both wires of the multimeter on both parts of the charging port?
Try doing the continuity test from one yellow arrow to the other yellow arrow and same with the dark blue ones on the picture I sent earlier and if you don't get a beep with that try changing to the other arrow on one side

Ok, what makes a beep for me is wen I put a needle on the negative part on both sides
