I have recently gotten a r4 card for my dsi xl and I have tried every firmware from ysmenu to the one it came with to many others. No matter what I do when I use the card it just shows menu? On the screen. Would prefer to use ysmenu as my primary kernal. Here is a picture of the card.

I also just realized I am using microxd card does that not work? I formatted it correctly.

Don't know but the first thing I would try if I was you would be another sd card

That way we can eliminate if its the sd card or r4 at fault.
I also thought it might be a kernal thing because the r4 card itself worked.

I just figured out you are right my sd card is incompatible (sigh) thanks for the help. Ordering new one
