Ok so i have a original playstation and i play PSX games on PSP (adrenaline), RetroArch.... and id like to transfer those saves to real memory card to continue gaming on real hardware.
Also reverse would be nice, like when i play on real hardware to transfer those saves to Adrenaline/RetroArch.

I have PS2 slim with hacked memory card...can i use that PS2 to do the transfers and saves extraction some way or whats the best and the most elegant way of doing it, and simplest?

Thanks!

So newer version supports it, is that what you're saying?
How am i supposed to do that, to update UlaunchELF?
Newer and older versions support UlaunchELF, but I forget where the incompatibility starts and ends.

To replace UlaunchELF, rename the new one the same as the old one, and copy it to the same folder. This way, you won't have to edit the config after the replacement.

Same as old one? I bought PS2 with hacked memory card, i did nothing hack related on my PS2, so i don't know how or what.

Id apreciate any help.

EDIT: So i was inpatient and i found a solution how to update LaunchELF to latesd 2020 build. It was easy actually...perhaps to easy!

Anyway, even now i can't see my PS1 card content with it. I

dk if its important or not but my card is a clone, not a original sony PS1card, but it works though...

You made me pull my ps1 and 2 from the basement but I can even hot swap ps1 and ps2 card. Ulaunchelf 4.36 installed. so you don't need anything else. and you can run ulaunchef from ulaunchelf...

Thanks for trying, i appreciate it!

Anyway, still, my PS2 cant read my SP1 memory card and PS2 memory card cant physically enter PS1 console.

As i said, its a clone memory card. How do i know you ask? Well outside its almost perfect 1:1 copy of Sony original, but the board on the inside has a black blob instead of chips and Sony logo and professional looking PCB...
I mean i can tell its a knockoff!

So anyway, regardless, it can be read by PS1 console which i find strange.
I guess PS1 doesn't care if its a knock off but PS2 does...or is it just my card in particular? idk...

Is your PS1 card a original one?
(i was told i'm buying a original one but, well, i was scammed i guess...)

Could you post a picture of the 3rd party card? At the very least, it should be read by a DexDrive.
i don't possess a dexdrive..thing. I wanted to do it the most simple and with hardware i got (the standard one).

Sure, i can post a pic.

what does it look like in ulaunch.elf? could be that it's a clone. I don't own a clone, so I have no experience with them. you might buy a legit card, transfer the saves over using the browser, then use ulaunch.elf.

In launcher in file browser its showing regular screen:
(its picture from internet but it's similar to my console..only i got dark background :P)

In "mc0:/" i got my PS2 memory card with freemcboot
and "mc1:/" is i presume a right slot on a console, where i put my PS1 memory card, and when i open that folder its just empty...

In real PS1 console its shows my saves.

As for the browser, there's no card in browser. It shows only PS2 memory card.

Can i use some other app that can reveal PS1 memory card and its content perhaps?
I mean the card works! I just cant see it in "browser" or in "WlaunchELF"

maybe try loading the save, then immediately saving again on a legit card. I have no idea how you're going to get that card to be read.

I mean if nothing works ill buy a original Sony brand card (ill ask to look inside before buying this time) but for now id like to see if i can do it without buying another card.

That's OK! Thanks anyway for trying. I appreciate it!!
