Dead by Daylight gets Silent Hill crossover DLC

It may not be a new game for the franchise, but Silent Hill is back, in the form of a new DLC pack for Dead by Daylight. For the fourth-anniversary of the game, it'll be getting a crossover chapter with Silent Hill, featuring the killer Pyramid Head, the map of Midwich Elementary School, and the survivor Cheryl Mason (and a cosmetic skin that will change her appearance into Lisa Garland). Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka will also be contributing to the soundtrack by creating music for the DLC level. Dead by Daylight is available on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4, with the Silent Hill DLC to launch sometime this June.

They don't need to test the waters. People have been waiting for years. But if they are, what a horrible choice to test them in and I don't see it making enough sales to make anything bigger happen.
well considering all of the good will they lost this might be a good idea

Silent Hill 3 is my favourite, she doesn't look in the face at all like Cheryl, maybe resemblance by appearance but just that, probably nothing close personality in game neither. But hey, anything new silent Hill is good I guess.

tbh i never really cared that much about silent hill but it's sad to see how most of their franchises have been degraded to one off small crossovers like this
Then again nowadays i don't really care about konami outside of their BEMANI divison

someone really needs to bring back a good horror like silent hill used to be.

its a shame because after P.T i thought Kojima teamed up with Reedus and DelTorro to bring an alternative horror, instead we got a game based on Zelda's post man lol

konami testing the waters?
Not really - it's not uncommon for Konami to license off their characters/IPs for random crossovers and cameos, so it's nothing out of ordinary (it's also how we got that amazing animated series based on Castlevania). Pretty cool regardless, people speculated about heado's appearance in DbD for quite a while at this point.

Thank Konami for cancelling Silent Hills and shoving Kojima out the door. F them.

I'm a huge Kojima fan but I have to agree, Death Stranding wasn't good. I was very disappoint.

I agree, nothing about any of the promo footage grabbed my attention

Didnt care how life like realistic the models were, anything gameplay that i saw, was just reedus running about.
