Clear your fish and bugs until you see the ones you selected spawning, then invite your friend over. So long as you don't exit your game any mods that you have poked will remain for the session, including visitors, you just can't poke new stuff in while they are on your island as it disconnects the wifi. The USB version may get you past this if/when we get it up and running?
They are in the item list. What they are missing from is the flowers list, but AFAIK that is because they don't have genetics and the flowers list is for plants that would be bugged without proper genetics.
Not sure mate but I know there are users on here that have both, one in emu Nand and one in Nand as far as I Know?
King Lycosa is gonna try implementing USB version but not sure if that would be compatible, I think its something to do with the way SXOS works

More like ACNH Poker requires Sys-Botbase, but there's neither support for SXOS in Sys-Botbase nor a suitable replacement for SXOS. Making it work through USB doesn't change that fact.
In other words, if you can get Sys-Botbase to work in SXOS then you can use ACNH Poker as is; if you can find something else for SXOS that works the same, allowing programs running on the PC to read and modify the currently running game's memory in arbitrary ways, then ACNH Poker could be adapted to use it. But without either of those then there is no way to make ACNH Poker work with SXOS.

I don’t know if you recall but there were a couple of people who used your critters to connect two switches to local play even though the poker requires internet to function. I thought as long as I cleared the old fish bugs and have them be the only ones spawning, I could invite player and the spawns would remain - but they don’t. As soon as I cleared other bugs / fish from spawning and invite player, the game reverts back and does regular game spawning.
That’s confusing because I’ve read people doing otherwise.

As long as you don't close the game (and don't press the reset button on my Poker) the modified spawns should remain, even if you close Poker; I'm modifying the in-memory version of the file the game uses to determine the spawn times and chances, so unless the game loads the file again the changes should remain. I'm not testing multiplayer, though, because I don't have access to a second Switch.
BTW, the Poker doesn't require Internet per see, just regular networking. Which is different from the Switch's local mode (when it has an L atop the wireless symbol); AFAIK nothing apart from another Switch can connect over lan to the Switch when it's in local mode.
Yeah I never closed the game out. What about the unchecked though? Are they supposed to not spawn if I leave them unchecked while connected? I guess this is where lies my confusion because my unchecked appear again. But the fish I want should still be in the code, right?

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
