How does the “Close this software And go back to the HOME Menu?” screen work? (And just a question for fun: )How come the Rosalina Menu can’t be opened in it? (Or just, in dsi mode in general?)

AIUI very little of the 3DS operating system works in DS mode - the console restarts and behaves pretty much like a real DSi (but with the confirmation screens about powering off / returning to the 3DS home menu). Rosalina is 3DS-mode function, so you wouldn't expect it to work.

oh, thanks for repling lol, also, how come rosalina couldn't be enabled during dsi mode (or gba mode)? would rosalina replace something needed for those modes to function?

Rosalina is effectively a 3rd party driver/module designed to integrate with the 3DS-mode kernel; it would need to be ported to the DSi and GBA-mode kernels (which may or may not significantly differ in functionality)
