I've used this application several times without problems, and now whenever I build, this error pops up. How do I fix it?

It seems the program stopped working somehow, we need the developer to take a look and see what changed...

No it still works fine, it's something with your computer. It's always had the potential to mess up because it's buggy .Try deleting the temp folder of VCInjector in Roaming.

The developer is not going to look at anything he abandoned the project years ago and gave the code a few months ago to make it open source.

Did you try it, yourself?

I used it two days ago and it was fine. Who knows why it's not working for them. The program has issues the dev called it garbage. But when it works properly on a computer it works good, but some computers it doesn't (i.e. it won't launch at all) and yes it can stop working on a computert that it worked too, i.e. not launch. That has been that way since the beginning. Nothing has changed recently like you claim because the program hasn't been in development for a long time now.

You're making it sound like nobody's works anymore but that is false mine works. This program has issues that will never be resolved unless someone takes the source code and makes a new version. The dev has stopped working on it since like 2018.

Hi just signed up to ask this.

I've been using WiiVCInjector no problem for Gamecube games and one Wii game (Earth Seeker), but any time I try to inject a Wii game I get this error.

Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Users\spenc\AppData\Local\Temp\WiiVCInjector\SOURCETEMP\ISOEXTRACT'

If I create a folder in the SOURCETEMP folder then it instead gives me a tiktemp\tmb.bin error.

I've looked up other solutions like running the WiiVC Injector from my SD Card or running the program as an administrator, but they did not work. I've also tried removing dashes, brackets, commas and exclamation points from titles but that didn't work either.

Please help.

Could still be path if your username has any special characters or any of the folders leading to or including the games have any special characters, or even any of the images that you're adding (if you're not using the build in ones in the injector which some games don't have them) All paths including the game and images have to be clean.

The path you posted looks clean so I'm not sure I've had this problem before and I don't remember exactly how I fixed it. Maybe try another computer or add a new user on the existing computer.

Oh I do remember it kept happening to me then I tried another ISO of the same game and it worked so could be bad ISO. So if it's one game try another ISO of the same game but if it's happening to all of them then that wouldn't be it.

Yeah it's all my Wii ISOs except for one game, and they were downloaded from different sites.

As I mentioned to someone earlier this injector has a lot of problems and the dev said it was terrible and no one should use it. The only option you have AFAIK is another computer or another username on the same computer.

I don't have that answer of why, I just know it's been recommended before.

This is a post from xs4all that I know knows a lot about this injector. (see third line)

Just throwing some ideas around so not sure if any of these will work but worth a shot:

- Try disabling your virus program first and try again.
- Try RIGHT CLICK on the file and select Run As Administrator.
- Create a NEW local user Profile, naming it something simple and try NOT to use any spaces in the name, and try running the script again.

If you don't want to do that, search the thread and try to find another answer. I know if I wanted it to work bad enough I'd try it it takes like a couple of minutes to do instead of waiting on an answer. What harm could it do?

Tried all three and it didn't work. New account still gave me the ISOEXTRACT error. Running as admin or turning off virus protection didn't change anything.

Edit: Y'all I think I got something.

I happened to download a wbfs copy of Kirby's Return to Dreamland while grabbing all the ISOs, and I decided to test it out, and IT WORKED. It's completely functional on my WiiU.

Gonna test it out with other wbfs games and see if those work over ISOs.

Edit 2: Okay so maybe the problem is that I've been using nkit iso files and not just plain iso?

Edit 3: Yeah the problem is DEFINITELY the nkit iso files. Earth Seeker was an iso file while all the other games were nkit.

Pretty proud of myself for wading through this. Hope this helps other people with the same problem.

Edit 4: Anyway now that I've solved that problem, I was wondering if anyone knew why Killer7 has duplicate enemies when injected onto the Wii U? I can't find any way to fix that other than it apparently being due to the width of the screen, but I tried forcing it in 4:3 and it still didn't work. Also there's a glitch or something where the characters will constantly reload.

im having the exact same issue and my files happen to be nkit iso

Is there a way to convert the nkit iso over to a normal iso?
