Hello,
I have been doing some research about nintendo switch hacking ( I dont know a lot) and i have a thought that i want to share.

I have been reading on the internet that currently there is a “safe” way of using cfw in emuMMC and ofw in sysnand. If we dont go online on emummc apparently nintendo cannot know that the console is hacked.

BUT, emuMMC leaves files on the user partition on sysnand. And there is data on boot1, by the end of the partiton in an empty space. Moreover, if we use autorcm, boot0/1 is “broken”. Nintendo could track all this modification in future firmware updates by using telemetry and ban user from online.

BUT what if we place ofw in emuMMC, we wont have to include files on the user partition of ofw. And if we emulate boot, we can hide that the original one is broken.

The only doubt that i have is if they could know that it is not the real nand by looking at reading speed, maybe the sd is faster or slower than the internal memory.

Maybe I’m very wrong, so tell me what you think hahaha

Developers are already one step ahead of you and it was implemented alongside the release of emuMMC. However it wasn't working for some reason so its been temporarily removed.
