Happy birthday Robz :) thank you for the latest update,

but im having this problem where my 3DS keeps resetting back to the main Twilight++ menu when i start up "Pokemon StormSilver" (pokemon modded game),

I've already tried deleting "nds-bootstrap.ini" at "sd:/_nds/nds-bootstrap.ini" and "settings.ini" at "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/".
im thinking of resetting the cheats to see if it'll make a difference, but attempting to go into the cheats menu will also reset back to the main Twilight++ menu,

I've tried deleting the game and taking another copy off my hard drive to put onto the MicroSD card, but to no avail

You can fix the reset issue by turning off "Update recently played list" in TWLMenu++ Settings.
As for the cheat menu issue, it is unknown how to fix this.

Hello.

For some reason, when attempting to use Pokemon White, the anti-piracy patch is not going into effect. I am on the latest version of Twilight Menu, and I just installed it about an hour and a half ago.

Apologies if the issue has already been mentioned, but I personally do not wish to go through 555 pages of things on a lag-infested netbook.

  1. Are you on a flashcard or an SD card?
  2. Is it a ROM hack?

so i've got an idea of what *might* be one of the causes for the white/black screen on top when launching NDS games:
whenever i launch a game, it's cool and everything is gucci,
BUT
when i close the application by holding L/R/Down/B or by hitting the home button (N3DS),
then i try to launch the same game under the same conditions (open twilight, turn off sort by updated, etc), and the black screen appears.

this leads me to believe that something happens when Twilight is closed altogether that causes the black screen to appear the next time a game is launched.

my fix is to delete:
"nds-bootstrap.ini" at "sd:/_nds/nds-bootstrap.ini" and
"settings.ini" at "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/", then use the Twilight++ updater to update the cheats again,
and then it'll work just fine again.

just posting this here in case it helps Robz8 find out what's going on,

-thanks for everything so far, stay safe folks

Maybe it's the cheats that are causing this issue?

I've tried playing the same game twice without cheats this time, and it's only the second time where the black screen happens,

i dont mean to spam, i'd like to go into IT so things like this are really interesting to me (even though i have like, little to no knowledge of almost anything IT-related)

1. SD Card.
2. I did use the Universal Pokemon Randomizer, other than that, no.
Try a non-randomized ROM.

I don't have this issue, even with "usrcheat.dat".
Try without a "usrcheat.dat" file.

Is it possible to fill the black borders with NDS artwork when playing in pixel perfect mode? Like with GB(C) VC games it shows the gameboy around the game area.

I always feel like I'm missing out on free real estate if there is so much unused screenspace and I can't stand blurry games :/

Currently (at least), no.

So, I'm kinda new with these kinds of things, so forgive me if I don't understand most of the stuffs, but I have a question.

So I have an old Galaxy Eagle I flashkart that I wanna revitalize and I just tried using twilight menu++ yesterday, I followed the steps and the roms work fine, but the problem is, the cheat menu is nowhere to be found.

I've changed my theme to the acekard one cause everyone said that this theme allows us to use cheats, and I did the Y+X button combo, but it didn't show.

I heard that you have to make your own cheats folder and put the usrcheat.dat there for it to work, tried that and it didn't work.
heard that you have to put it in the extras folder for it to work, tried and it didn't work as well.

I'm running out of ideas so If anyone can help me out, that would be much appreciated.

Oh and I also ran the flashcard with a DS Lite.

You can't use cheats on flashcards.

So on my 3ds I have NTRboot and Luma, tried to install Twilight and the app isn't appearing on my home menu. Rebooted my 3ds and nothing worked. Any suggestions on where to go from here?
