Gaming Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition has leaked

Haven't seen anyone make a post about this yet so I figured why not spread the good word. The leak was of the .XCI file. It goes without saying that no links or whatever are not allowed here even via PM. If you need a hint, the game was originally uploaded via torrent. In the options menu, you can choose between English and Japanese. My console's region is in USA so I assume whatever country you're playing in will replace the English option but keep the Japanese one. Although this makes me curious what options Japanese players have.

Online? that has nothing to do with Xenoblade.

In other news, i have mixed feelings about the leak.. this is a game i truly care about and want it to sell as much as possible.

Agreed but at the same time it's quite common for the game to leak early these days so it's to be expected. :/

The game was leaked 2 weeks early that's pretty bad luckily the switch is only 10-20% of the actual userbase that have modded systems.

Thanks! I must have read it wrong from wiki well I guess that isnt as bad I wonder who leak those games?

It is normal as long it is not leaked several weeks of it schedule release, obviously it is from someone who got a review copy and leaked it.

Gotcha I'm curious do they actually keep those games or they give them back after testing them I noticed like some techies review phones and etc I know some of them be demo devices but for actual real consoles do they keep them? I mean afterall they make a shit load of money per video through ads so I wasnt sure if it was a kickback or not.

Kinda risky leaking that hopefully they aren't discovered.

It is pretty common Pokemon games got leaked several days before street date also, Sword got leaked 11/11/2019, ahead of 11/15/2019 schedule release, generally it would be either someone with a review copy, or store gave them out early, usually like employee, or the buyer have to know someone internally working at a game store. Typically it is bad when they break street date.

Game works good on 9.1.0 I'll give it a go. It makes me wonder why people update their CFW if everything still works on older firmware. I hope someone figure out how to dump keys for future games that will need it.

The keys issue was solved a long time ago. The real reason games don't work on lower firmware versions is because they are compiled with SDKs on higher firmware versions.
