Hacking Can you be banned for entering PSN with CFW ?

Is it possible Sony can detect you have CFW/HEN installed when entering PSN and ban you ? Or does it only happen when you go online a start applying MODs and hacks ?

If you run mods and hack you would have to get caught. But if you run homebrew, they know, boom, police in your house.

Is it possible? Yes.
Does it happen? Only if you run certain titles (avoid Rockstar, EA, and Activision online games) or mods/cheats, and even then it's becoming less and less frequent over time.

Can I still connect to PSN, access the playstation store, download my PS+ titles,... with a R3bug CFW console? I just want it for the homebrew, not for piracy reasons.
