So my question is,

This WiiU came with Haxchii 4.0, so it seems, because it has the Haxchii 4.0 app on it. I once had a WiiU and modded myself in 2017 but I cannot remember what to do NOW.

My question is, what is this hack exactly, and for what I can tell I can see NO original game installed, because I remember you had to do that before. Also, the startup is quite fast, not what I remembered.

What do you guys think? How can I tell what kind of Hack it actually has installed?

Thank you, and I believe you guys will understand me, I don't like to start playing on it or use it, not knowing what the hell am doing! :)

Cheers to all!

Ok, here is the deal. There are a few games installed, I can play them without issue. The boot is fast and the games are backups. But sometimes I see something that says iosuhax?
But isn't that old hack? How do I have a Haxchii 4 app? I am a bit confused... does anyone know the steps to see what in the hell my WiiU has? What CFW it's actually using?

Thank you all.

Update your haxchi.

Alex I am so lost here, I simply assume I have Haxchii installed. How do I tell if this WiiU has Haxchii or Mocha installed? That's mostly what I want to know. It seems this WiiU has been modded using Alucardio tutorials. So I had never seen this, in the past I used to use Mocha and a real retail DS game. I just don't know how to check after all these years, I guess I have grown older and dummer hahah Cheers! And please let me know anything you know about this.

Thank you Alex.

Mocha works only through the web browser. Haxchi is the modded ds vc game.

It is a strange hack my WiiU has, it seems to be a hack where they don't use a bought game, because I saw a video by this Alucardio guy. And he does that, which is replacing some files inside the Nand. Do you know a way to actually check if my console is hacked using an original Ds game? I am sorry to bother you Baamalex, I just don't want to risk bricking the console by updating Haxchii or something like that.

Follow this guide here. This should solve your questions.

The Alucardiano team takes other people's software and claims them as their own. I know from experience! Look at their WUP Downloadet program. It's literally my app Funkii-UI. They just removed my name from everything and claimed it as their original work, well at leas Geovanni did. I had a huge deal go down and eventually they agreed to put my name back on it. If you go to their website and go to the WUP Downloader section they have a cute message thanking me for all my hard work. I eventually agreed to help them modify it to their liking because, well, they don't know shit about programming. I eventually pulled the plug on Funkii-UI and removed it entirely from my github. These guys actually played a large role in my re-evaluation of my stance on Funkii-UI. If you go to GeovanniMCH's github you will see that they claimed to have "worked on it" but all they did was translate the strings to Spanish and swapped the images for their own.... Absolutely nothing more.

Check on data management if in the system memory there's a title called "DON'T TOUCH ME" or "Haxchi". If it's there, then it's regular Haxchi.
If you have other thing from Alucardio's shitty tutorials, then comeback for more instructions.

Thank you, I will do that! And yes, only by the sound of his stupid voice I could tell he is a hipocritical asshole, I do speak spanish too of course,

What dipshits. Because of people like them I NEVER follow spanish speaking tutorials, etc, even though I speak spanish myself. I always go to the source where the real people are, and when you do that you also get a much better experience in everything. Thank you dojafoja for your work.

Only thing there is in the nand is a 149mb Haxchi 4.0

What I don't understand is that I don't see any DS game, and I haven't heard of "Haxchi 4.0" before. Also on the SD card that came with the WiiU, in the folder WiiU/apps there are 4 folders: Actualizador Haxchi, Homebrew Launcher, REGION FREE & FWIMG, and Wup Ameris.

Thank you E1ite007, thank you for your time.

Yes, it's an Alucardio thing.
He has a tutorial where he doesn't buy the DS game, I don't know how it works neither how nobody has complained 'bout a brick 'cause of that.
Maybe you should check on the Homebrew Launcher if one of the apps (presumably the Actualizador Haxchi) is a Haxchi installer, and then by that app uninstall his version of Haxchi. WARNING: You'll lose every game you have, at least (AFAK) until you install Haxchi again, but I think the system will try to format the USB drive (if you're using one) so don't do it.
Then proceed with the guide.

Actualizador Haxchi means "Haxchi Updater" well, I think I am just going to resell this WiiU the way it is, it seems to be working just fine, but I don't want to risk of bricking it. I will just tell the new owner not to update the console and that's it.

Thank you Elite, you have been a great help :)

Yeah, I know what Actualizador Haxchi means, but it's possibly just the Haxchi Installer renamed to appear as an update.

An updater? Definitely fake.

To be honest I think the sys nand is modified, and that probably the kid who owned it (he was a kid) did that, which is modifying the nand to make it seems like you bought a DS game and from there I think they install Haxchii on it.

Or could an original DS game simply be renamed to Haxchi? Sorry for all these questions, but like I said, I have been out of the hacking scene for quite a long time, and I also don't want to risk bricking this WiiU or immediately ban it from online or something.

Cheers and thanks again.

First, there's no more bans... at least of what I'm aware of.
I'm more involved in the 3DS side of things, but the last time we heard from a ban was in late 2017-ish.
And, nope, there's no way to hide the DS game. And... yeah, as far as I remember, when you use Haxchi (or any stolen or "cool" fork of it) it works over the DS game, and the original DS game is nowhere to be seen.
Have you tried to use the supposedly Haxchi Updater? I'm 99% sure it's just a renamed Haxchi Installer.

Thank you elite! That's all I needed to know. I feel better knowing that is probably an original DS game in there. Thank you again.

Oh, yeah... it's a DS game anyhow, there's no other way to install Haxchi, not even Alucardio's shitty version.
Anyway, I hope you find it useful. Have fun with your Wii U man.
