header_586x192.jpg

Is Eidos still helping them make ports? That would explain a lot about the 90's up to now! SE has a lot of garbage too, but it's easy to recognize a lot more better games in their library, which should have been included if they were so serious about charity.
afaik no, they stpped when they were bough, atleast from signing their comopany name, if they still do their pc ports and dont put their names on it and square just took a team to do pc ports we will never know.

I remember when Tomb Raider broke the scene and it was as meaningful as Resident Evil, but the PC port of FFVII was shit, and even to this day SE still has trouble getting a PC port right.

Maybe the Eidos studio was bought out and retained under SE's label for that purpose. Idk about it.

i think square enix has no knowledge on pc codding thats why they probably bough them so they could get someone to port some of their games along the way, they probably do codding very optimized for consoles and have no knowledge to do the same on pc, and translatting that codding can be a real pain, thats why their pc ports arent anything special, while eidos primarily codes on pc and then ports to console, square does the oposite.

Modern Tomb Raider looks like Uncharted but with Lara Croft.

And no where near as good and fun looking as Uncharted, either.

Tomb Raider needs to go back to the womb then come out like Tomb Raider classique.

It lasted a few days, it's just nobody seemed to report on it until today...and then as soon as I reported on it, Squeenix announced they were ending it today >.<

So just bad timing :(

This was a steal for $40 USD, 1 person in one of my discord groups notify this deal. Im glad I scooped this up b/c offers like this rarely happens. The original price of Rise of the Tomb raider + season pass would cost more than this bundle all together.

It's bad because they didn't even give the world a free one.

They should give us the original Tomb Raider on the house.

They are greedy for giving this bundle. Greedy that they are giving games people already own just for a cheap praise, this bundle is no loss to them. They will only be charitable and selfless if they gave away new games like Final Fantasy Remake, but not old games people already own.

Greedy that they don't wanna share that sweet sweet Final Fantasy money to charity. Greedy they are hoping all the attention goes to them, people see them as selfless and buy their new games to because they gave to "charity." This is all just a marketing scam stunt. Greedy they gave 100% of that money away to charities instead of giving it to their employees who made these games with hard work, that are staying at home right now on lock down, who are struggling with money right now. This is their excuses to not pay their employees and see them suffer. This bundle is pure evil, niceness in disguise. We must delete these game from our computers.

This is not true, it was a pro rata bundle, with the actual price you pay discounted by everything already owned. I paid something like 5gbp to complete the bundle of what little I did not already have.

Could you try to make a thread about how a certain game isn't on sale? I wanna know if that means fate will magically make the game go on sale an hour later.
