Yes, it is still awfully slow on startup and on transfer.

It seems Tinfoil objects to my using Hekate, so that's one less option. Sad!

NXMTP works fine as long as you have stock drivers installed on pc. I had issues before due to using the Nut server and using zadig to install tinfoil drivers. Undid all of that and it worked fine.

I use NXMTP and Tinfoil/Nut at the same time. The driver does not conflict, however the Zadig setups can be finicky.

nxmtp is very slow but mtp-server-nx by the retronx devs is faster than ftp for me.
i mean if you have a shitty cable then yeah its slow but its not for me

well, nxmtp is slow for me, mtp-server-nx is WAY faster and even faster than my ftp speeds.
may be still slow for you but thats my observation. if you think its slow, ok ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

you are incorrect, nxmtp is significantly faster than nxmtpserver because it’s multithreaded.

I do not have an ams fork.

saying the best in the switch scene is a pretty low bar. You jest, yet it’s true my mtp supports over 4GB file transfers as well. Keep using your inferior software if it makes you feel better ‍
