i dont have a problem to use NeutOS but shit is i cant use any ams custom splash anymore and have that neutos splash
even if i edit the BCT.ini with
[stage2]
custom_splash = atmosphere/bootlogo.bmp
the hell ....

Been using 90dns to block Nintendo servers but I see on their website to use google internet settings, does that still block Nintendo servers. I think I tried it once before and it didn’t. Just asking because I don’t want to really go through deleting the updates if they download by going to restore mode. Basically asking whoever is possibly using the google dns settings.
No, Google DNS doesn't block Nintendo. The idea is that you use Google DNS because 90DNS is slow, and you combine it with Incognito for the protection - then Nintendo sees your connection and tries to ban you, but can't identify you in order to do so.
The 0.12 version of NEUTOS specifically removes the ability to use a custom splash. It's one of the only changes to stock Atmosphere code other than a loader patch, prepacking sigpatches and renaming stuff from AMS/Atmosphere to NEU/NEUTOS.
...and then you look at the newest Tinfoil/HBG related controversy:
"As of the new tinfoil update that just came out, JITS isnt working. This is NOT an issue on our end, hbg is forcing blawar to block our access. Blawar has his reasons to do what theyre asking, he isnt to blame for this. We are trying to find a way around this and I have been talking to hbg staff to try to reach an agreement but they adamantly refuse, saying hbgshop is the only one that needs to exist. Please be patient while we try to think of a solution, I love all of you."

Tinfoil is leaning towards an SXOS exclusive Blawar said it himself he dont want Hekate users using tinfoil. There are other applications you can use such as Goldleaf. If other people feel some type of way they should make thier own shop instead of relying on HBG shop. I personally don't use the shops I rather get my own NSP/XCI/NSZ on the net. Remember you guys aren't paying the devs so they can dictate thier software as they want.
If you have SXOS you are not going to have these types of problems
If you have Atmosphere you better just downgrade to a compatable version of Tinfoil or just use goldleaf and surf the net for your games. Thats why I always tell people stop updating if you really need too I'm on 9.1.0 and all my stuff and games work. I have SXOS in my backpocket but at the end of the day it boils down to choice.
You DONT need HBG shop it's a luxury not a necessity. I have no beef with Blawar you guys just gotta know sometime its poltics. Tinfoil is leaning twoards SXOS.

Okay one more quick question I use both sx os and installed an nsp through hbg shop it works on sx os but won’t work on atmosphere how can I get it to also work on atmosphere without using neutos or whatever I personally want to use vanilla atmosphere. I have the patches for Kosmos and everything. Do I need to boot the fuse primary through payloads and put the new patches in that only work on that for it to work everytime? I am on 10.0.2 btw

Tinfoil only works with the Neutos fork or SXOS. I think you get a red screen of death or the controls lockup if you try to use it outside those two... You can always downgrade your CFW to 9.1.0 to use tinfoil via atmosphere (older version of tinfoil works) I have 9.1.0 tinfoil and HBG shop (although I dont use HBG shop) it still works on my firmware.
Why go to atmosphere if you are already on SXOS? I have SXOS but I didn't use it yet until I need to use it
I have the same version of tinfoil all the newer games work on my old firmware. I dont update my firmware unless I really need to do it. Some applications only work on certain firmware and I hear that 10.0.0 CFW is buggy and alot of apps dont work. Same thing happened to the vita I was on firmware 3.71 and I had to downgrade to 3.60 to play PSP games I rather have stability than keep updating CFW each time a new software update gets released.
Only thing I honestly see HBG shop good for is providing game updates and DLC without you having to keep digging around for things on then net.

I use atmosphere for sys over clocking and all that because as far as I know sx os doesn’t allow that as of now right?
