PS1/2 How to play ps2 games using opl

Hello friends, I have a ps2 slim and I want to play soem games on my usb drive, I already have a FREEMCBOOT with opl installed but I don't know how to launch the game using a usb drive, I tried to copy the games to my san disk 64gb but some of them can't run and says this game is fragmented, I tried to defrag them but it always gives me errors, then I found out that I should use an external hard drive, so which hard drive should I buy? is any hard drive like WD 500 GB wokrs? and how to copy the games to the external hdd and defrag them proply? Please help me

Lots of games don't work well over USB and need an internal HDD to play best on OPL.

I use network ( with SMB ) to play my games with OPL and PS2 slim, it works better than USB ( it is really faster )

Most of people I saw sell ps2's with like 500+ games over USB hard drive so I thought there is a way to do it, I tried the 64gb but every time I try to defrag the USB drive it doesn't work so I think I should buy an external USB hard drive?

The ps2 will be for children so it's hard to set up the ps2 over a network, I just want to download some games for them and give it to them

Have you think about patching your game with and burn them to DVD ? ( not 100% compatibility )
