Tinfoil isn't a shop.Hello, and yes, I have my config file exactly like that but Tinfoil appears like this. There's no option to download games, idk if I should do something else...?
Thanks for the help.

So how I could download games with it before? It's a different homebrew or something? Edit: I didn't know that tinfoil and hbg shop were different, sorry and thanks for the help.Tinfoil isn't a shop.
works w/ these patches thoughLet's not turn this thread into yet another support thread for that shitty hostile app. The previous sweet patches thread has turned into nothing but that, so post there if you want.
That's fine, as long as people aren't filling this thread about patches with questions about an unrelated app.works w/ these patches though
I wasn't talking about any app in particular, but more a FAQ in general. People keep asking about if these patches support 10.0.1 / hekate / tinfoil / which patches do they need, answering these repeated questions as well as giving a little info about what changed in 10.0.1 would be helpful regardless of what particular app one person does and does not use.Let's not turn this thread into yet another support thread for that shitty hostile app. The previous sweet patches thread has turned into nothing but that, so post there if you want.
Yep I wasn't responding to your post, but the previous conversation.I wasn't talking about any app in particular, but more a FAQ in general. I've read through the entire other kip / patches thread and I still barely get what's going on. Jumping to calling them retards isn't productive to say the least. Some people are noobs just getting into homebrew, and they need help too.if they ask if this supporst hekate-style patches/kips in a fusee-primary thread they are pretty fucking retarded
but i guess i agree with the concept
directly boot fusee-primary as SciresM intended. kosmos generating a config that forces fusee-secondary and kip patches ends up in black screen and constant issuesI've read through the entire other kip / patches thread and I still barely get what's going on. I see the irony too. It's mostly that people (at least myself) prefer to run the standard atmosphere with a patch, instead of some random modded fork.> ips patching AMS' open source loader reimplementation.
I think this is the most amusing thing I've seen in quite awhile, lol
Patches work really well, moved from neutos back to atmos again. Hekate loads fuse primary without issues as it has always done.
Odd that you'd mention that. Of course, since the fork of Atmosphere is also open source, you can see exactly what it does. So adding brick code or other malicious stuff isn't feasible.NeutOS is a fork of atmosphere with some stuff patched out. One doesn't offer anything the other doesn't, and they are 98% the same exact code.
Some people just prefer to use the official branch rather than a fork. Nothing stopping someone from forking the main repo, and later on adding brick code or other malicious stuff. it's usually harder for that kind of thiIg to happen with the main branch. Other people just prefer not to use software from a particular author for other reasons. It all boils down to preference
Releases don't have to be the exact code from the repo, there's nothing preventing someone from having different code in releases. but mehOdd that you'd mention that. If the end user cares that much and is that paranoid, they can compile the code themselves to ensure the release is exact.Releases don't have to be the exact code from the repo, there's nothing preventing someone from having different code in releases. but meh
The possibility to have sx os on the same microsd card. What does Atmosphere offer than NEUTOS doesn't?
