Does anyone have any information about sky3ds+ and if it works on a cfw 3ds console regardless of the sky3ds version

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

May you provide what games are like that?
There are some specific 3ds kiosk demos that require a cartridge to work. For example Mario kart 7 demo is one of them

Hi so I’m trying to install DS games on my 3ds using forwarder 3ds application (pc). I got all the necessary rom files and set them up right on my SD card, and even updated twilight menu through the updater app, and everytime I try to boot into game, it goes in, shows the DSi logo, then the NDS bootstrap logo, and then the top screen goes black and the bottom screen white. Is this a bug with the latest update? If not does anyone know how to fix this?

By any chance does anyone happen to have a build of luma3ds that works with both legend of zelda majoras mask 3d project restoration mod and mario kart 7 ctgp-7? At the moment you have to choose between either 1 or the other.

Hi I own a Mario Kart 7 Demo cartridge and I made a copy of the rom to see if it can work on CFW 3ds. I converted it from a .3ds to .cia format and installed it and it successfully installed, however everytime I boot the game it gets to the loading screen and then an error occurs. Does anyone know anything about this? [See Error Code Below]

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An error occurred (ErrDisp)

Error Type: generic

Process ID: 67115840

Address: 0x00000d3a
Error Code: 0x000000d3

Press any button to reboot.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How do I fix this error? [system cfw]

Can anyone tell me how to manually update luma from V2.4 to V2.5? The updater is broken and I looked it up and the creator said it has to be manually updated. I have all the files.

Extract boot.firm from latest release put it on your SD overwriting the previous one.
https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases
Also a good idea is updating the boot.firm on CTRNAND.

Install latest Luma updater CIA file if you want to use the updater:

If it started right after installing B9S this means B9S is – for whatever reason – unable to find a valid boot.firm on your SD. Make sure your SD is formatted with FAT32, 32 KB cluster size and the file is present. Try a different SD (only containing boot.firm) as well.

Hi everybody,

I have a N3DSXL and a N2DSXL with Luma. I wanted to know if it is safe :
- to play online
- to update a game when prompted by the console (push Y to update, A to play)

Thanks :)

1. Its perfectly safe to play online you will only get banned if you cheat in an online game.

2. Its perfectly safe to update that way if the game is for the same region as your 3ds.if the region is different download the update from the Internet and install it exactly the same way as a pirated game using FBI.

What happens if the game is not the same region ? Console is banned ?

I installed Homebrew on my 2DS over a year ago, this was when Freeshop still was working and so on. But now I have a friend who wants to install custom firmware on his 3DS-system, so it can run FBI and .cia-files, but with the last couple of firmware upgrades from Nintendo on the 3DS, do I have to follow another guide to install firmware this time? Do I need a R4-card for the installation process?
