Looks like running the command targeted at the .bin file, results in the issue your experiencing.

You could try to create your own .cue file.

- Create a text file and copy this:

- save and rename to THPS2.cue
- run chdman on the .cue file.

There have been some new changes since that thread was posted. The most important settings I do (that help for most games) are:

- First, make sure you're running 1.8.5+ stable, or a nightly newer than that.
- Video Sync off, Audio Sync on
- Dithering off
- CD Read Method: Async
- 3d slider off

I forget if you said you're using CIA builds -- if you are, I _think_ it's better to uninstall the old CIA before installing the new CIA, but don't quote me on that. If you're using 3dsx, you just have to overwrite the old core with the new one.
