I dropped my hacked 3DS and the bottom screen is now totally black.I think I can’t fix it so I’m planing to get a new one, but is it fine to just put my hacked sd card in to the unhacked 3ds?Will the new 3ds and the data in my sd card be fine?
Someone please help me.

You would need to basically transfer the contents with a system transfer as the data is encrypted per that console you have. If you cannot get that data, its not really going to be of use much without the keys of that data.

As mentioned you can't just move the card from one 3DS to another. You would have to do a system transfer and it sounds like your old 3DS is too damaged to do that. Even if you could do the transfer it wouldn't make the new 3DS hacked, none of the stuff that needs the hack would work until you hacked the new one. At this point it sounds like you're probably just going to need to get a new 3DS and start over.

Also someone correct me if I am wrong as it's a long time since I messed with 3DS stuff. Without being able to do a system transfer the nintendo account and purchases on it wont work on any other 3DS unless you can get Nintendo to unlink them from the old one for you.

The touchscreen is still working so I could probably system transfer.
So if I hack my new 3ds and then system transfer, then my data will be kept?

[How to perform a System Transfer without losing non-legitimate titles]

Hopefully you created backups of your saves in decrypted form with Checkpoint and/or JKSM. Then it is an easy restore, even without the ability to perform the official transfer. (Install CFW on the new device, install games, restore backups).
=========

What I would do if I was in your shoes (in that order):
  • Manually backup data from the damaged device (NAND, saves)
  • Try System Transfer
  • Open the damaged console and check connectors and ribbon cables, especially for lower screen video (backlight should still turn on – else your console should not be able to boot).
    • Remove and reinsert lower screen video (if connector is not visibly broken)
    • Try a new lower LCD
In case backups of everything important already exists I would start with the hardware part right away.

Good luck!

Maybe I’ll try fixing my old 3DS in the future. I think fixing it now is too risky I’m not so good at fixing stuff and I might make it worse
