ah sorry I forgot about emuNAND.
so let me quote that part.
What must be either on SD or USB but not mixed is in case you made "neek" too.
neek is a different method to do emuNAND.
Sneek is neek with emuNAND on SD
Uneek is neek with emuNAND on USB.
the emuNAND folder is still movable, but the "sd:/sneek/ folder must not be mixed. it contains either the SD version or the USB version, but they both are named the same : kernel.bin ! there's no way to know which version you have.
But for now, you don't need neek !
So, I suggest this :
1. Delete your existing emuNAND folders. (you shouldn't need them if it's not even working)
2. go to USBLoaderGX, settings, user path, emuNAND Channel : change the path from sd:/nands/01/ to usb1:/nands/nand1/ (or whatever path you want, just don't make it too long, with space or special character in path)
3. go to USBLoaderGX, settings, features, dump NAND, full, to NAND channel path (it should ask you, because both channel and savegame path are different, unless you changed both because you ALSO want to save games to that same emuNAND folder)
Remember that emuNAND save don't need a NAND dump first if you only use "partial" redirection. the loader will only look at the savegame file and don't care whether you have a full dump or not.
4. go to USBLoaderGX, main window, top menu, 4th icon, enable "channels on emuNAND", be sure to disable "channel on NAND" to display only emuNAND content.
5. Launch one of the existing channels ! (a game for example? did you have a VC or Wiiware already installed on NAND, which should then be located on emuNAND now)
Tell me if it works that way.
existing channels should work.
Then you'll have to add new channels (from wad) using USBLoaderGX > settings > Features > Wad manager
so let me quote that part.
the emuNAND folder itself can be place anywhere. it's a "copy of a console's internal structure".I made an empty NAND with ModMii, but the instructions told me to move it to the SD card afterward, and I specifically wanted it to be in the USB as there wasn't enough space inside the SD for all the wads. I dumped the NAND with USB Loader afterward, and the wads are in a similar state to the Wii games, despite the ones I've tested so far working perfectly fine when installed in the system menu. Would it work if I move this empty NAND to the folder of the dumped NAND, replacing it entirely?
