Tinfoil is closed source. Not on github (at least publicly).

Exactly, as far as know, everything blawar did using open source code, he has published publicly in his github, including all his kid ass jokes like Goldbricks, respecting the sources' licenses, even NUT is open source I think. Tinfoil has so many custom features I really doubt there's open source code from the switch community there (ofc he probably uses curl and shit like that), simply because it would be easier to make everything from the scratch to build all his custom features over. That's why I say blawar isn't stealing code, that dude pointing me to his repositories is simply clueless what open source code is.

And you keep putting words in the mouth of others without having said them. I never said to steal, if not to use third party code. That was not even the subject, if not that you affirm that all its development is done by itself.
If you were talking about Tinfoil, you simply can't know because it's closed source.

see unnecessary software like "goldbricks", "tinleaf", not to mention using the name "Tinfoil" to a great contribution made by Adubbz. I do not know what else can rectify that everything has been done by himself, but lies are part of his nature and be replicated by people taking advantage of his naivete.
Mate, you are beating a dead horse, you're fighting with me about things I agree with you simply because you don't agree with one thing I said. Goldbricks and Tinleaf are all legal, there's not stolen code there and it's fully respecting GNU, like I said, respect the original developers' choice of licensing, if they didn't want forks, they would have chosen a license for that, you don't need to fight for them, GNU will do that.
Like I said, take your time to read all my comments in this thread and you'll see everything you're bitching about blawar I probably agree with. All I'm saying is that the dude isn't a thief and there's no shame in working for SXOS, I work for Nestlé for Christ's sake! Doesn't mean I agree with them enslaving people in Africa. You don't need to make shit up to make blawar look bad, he can do it all by himself.

Can you tell some people are not coping with lockdown as well as others?
Jokes aside I think we will get some pretty interesting papers out of this lockdown, specially from the psychology people. Uni were I'm getting my PhD is in all vapor producing papers, I'm on the Civil Engineering department and people are even trying to measure how traffic of people/cars/buses/etc affects how a building and it's foundation vibrates, a friend of mine is doing it on bridges, pretty sure I'm gonna process all this data since Civil Engineers here in Brazil are pretty bad with coding and dealing with huge amounts of data, gonna make some change for beer I guess :D, they're collecting a bunch of data right now and will compare with data they'll get once things get back to normal. Pretty interesting stuff.

I hope you're doing it all in pascal.

Too much data, I learned the hard way that python works better for this kind of data science (or maybe I was just doing pascal wrong), also it's nice to deliver a nice python notebook to the normies.
