TX Announce Preorders for SX CORE and SX LITE

Team-Xecuter has announced that pre-orders are starting TODAY for their new Switch mod-chips.

SX-Core-PreOrders.png

We even get a extra treat, finally a clear picture of their SX LITE installed in a Switch Lite motherboard, as you can see in the photo above, and also the pricing is only $45.95 and includes their SX OS license, but you can use other CFW as well, and looks like the selected testers will finally be getting their units by end of next week, so lots of good news all around! :)
First of all, we hope you and your families are safe and healthy during this global pandemic that has hit our civilization hard.

We got many questions about the current status of our new products, and after many hurdles we are excited to announce we will be opening up preorders for our SX Core and SX Lite products starting today.

Just like the SX Pro, the retail price for the SX Core and SX Lite is currently fixed at $45.95 and comes with a free SX OS License (although you are free to not use SX OS, of course).

All distributors and vendors will start taking preorders in the next hours/days. We want to give you this heads up to give everyone an equal opportunity to be among the first to receive their retail copy of the next generation of Team Xecuter's finest products for your beloved Switch consoles!

Those of you who were selected for the private beta (you know who you are!) should get their review units shipped towards the end of next week. After their sanity check and feedback are in we will ramp up production and strive to deliver the retail preorders around the end of April.
So for now, the wait is finally almost over, we can now starting ordering our modchips, and soon we will see first-hand feedback from selected testers that will be getting their units soon, so stay tuned for more news soon!

Makes sense to not want to support the team who’s research and development made this product possible. Let’s wait for others to reverse engineer this product and sell it for cheaper since all they have to do is clone it and tweak it, and then let’s support THEM. I am behind you 100% with this logic, I hate TX for charging us money for a very hassle free product they developed, it should be FREE!!! Damn you TX! Who else is with us?!?!
I am perfectly ok with ripping off the SX Team and really don't care if people consider that to be a problem. :yay:

Let’s see any other switch dev make their own mod chip Or software hack for the lite and other patched units. Oh that’s right. They can’t! They’ll just rely on stealing code from TX and claim it’s for the greater good, but they will be just as bad as TX when they stole code.

Well modchips are really not my thing. But more power to those who will look into this.
Ill keep my stock superbanned switch, my vanilla ipatched switch for as long as they keep working.
Do hope eventually we get some luck into softmodding again ...

Yeah im not a fan of opening up a system to physically mod it.
But still i'll keep any eye out on what TX does and what the scene does in the future.

I'm just going to add a really gentle reminder to everyone here to play nice and be civil. Do NOT go mudslinging or go attacking anyone personally. You know the drill. If you have anything nasty to say, stop and walk away because there is a good to fair chance that we've heard it before.

Back on topic, I do wonder if it does require soldering, or whether it is recommended if it turns out to be optional.

having 3 switches with hackable firmware and even a unit that starts with fake news it will take a long time to acquire a switch lite or use the chip but hey at least some people will have this option on site..

The new animal crossing game is like $60, this is a little under $50. I understand what you mean though :)

confusing pic , i wonder why there are 3 FFC ZIF connectors
it looks like only one is being used and it looks like the other 2 have some sort of jumper inserted into them
maybe they use same board for both the lite and full size the revision/ mariko units and the installation into the lite does not require you to use the other 2 connectors?
the ribbon cable labeled up is puzzling as well , will this go to some sort of button that bust be installed as to be made accessible from the outside of the console that is for triggering RCM mode? or will it be used to passthrough one of the existing buttons or something to trigger RCM with a button combo ?

we didn't have long for the TX crew bashers to raise their heads.. hell a year on and they're still spouting the same old rhetoric.

Here the fucking flamewars begin again....
TX steal from people, people steal from TX.
I guess its balanced, as things are suppose to be.

I haven't bothered following gbatemp much over the past year as I got bored of the same old core anti-TX commentors spouting the same old sh1t in almost every post.

So did the same old accusations of stolen code happen with SX OS 2.9.4 and 9.2.0 compatibility? Because I just used nxchoidujour to update my sysNAND and emuNAND to 9.2.0 and updated my SX OS DAT file and everything just worked (as usual) rather than come here and read through tens of pages of anti TX rants and accusations

I mean, it’s also worth waiting in case they pull a Stargate and just release the product, update it once or twice, then vanish. Personally, I am going to wait until either some clones to come out or a community made project is released because I will never support the SX team.
You mean like how they've abandoned their current SXOS product line? Look, there's many reasons to criticize this team, but long term support, with the exception of Stargate (which was DOA at that stage of the 3DS CFW lifecycle and absolutely a shitshow of a product), isn't one of them. You've got plenty of reasons to shit on them w/o breaking out the FUD, champ.

I can't wait for this to go out into the open... in more ways than one :tpi:

I wonder if this is just glitching the nand or if they actually found an exploit though.
it's the original exploit they found before hijacking the RCM bug

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

well just fact that there appears to be a ribbon cable extending out
maybe it is to trigger the glitching then not necessarily RCM
does RCM still exist in the revised tegra even ?
that cable is most likely the way to update the chip with whatever code they put out for it. just like how the core version has the micro port on it.
