Hacking Having a problem with installing a CIA file on 3ds

The other day I tried installing a rutile ruby randimized rom I did, but some strange things happened...

I use the 4gb sd that came with my n3ds, and if I installed it via network with boop or qr code it won't work, but works for other stuff like VC stuff, and then I tried to use the SD card I got on my switch after backing up everything, and the install went perfect...

So I was wondering, why it won't work with network install or qr code?

Possibly 'cause your bandwith is limited.
Think about it, the 3DS' network card is pretty limited regardin' transference speeds (download and upload), and if you add your also limited bandwith or even that your computer's network card is limited regardin' the transference speeds... well, that would be a problem.

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
