As long as your console is unpatched, it can be hacked with Fusee Gelee irrespective of firmware. This is determined in part by checking the serial number.
Either dump it from sysMMC or download it illegally from the Internet then install it in emuMMC.

I don’t know how to dump from sysMMC, I’ll try to find a tutorial but anyways thanks for the help!

So it seems you know a great deal about this.
But regarding that specific game, animal crossing. So i cannot go online, but how about local multiplayer between 2 switches? Where one is moded and one is not. That should be local intranet. Anyone tried that?

I don't play Animal Crossing, but general rule when it come to playing online with hacked console would just lead to ban, the concept is there.

Under my settings it says current version 9.1.0 /AMS 0.10.2/ S

So I am in the stock nand. Want to be on the safe side and change to emunand.

I have made my backups of nand partitions and followed the guide here
[https://switch.homebrew.guide/usingcfw/hekate](https://switch.homebrew.guide/usingcfw/hekate)

I am pretty sure I was on emunand some time ago,
But something must have gone wrong after I changed my sd card or updated my switch to the latest version.

can you please tell me what risk I am running now on Stock Nand?

How do I switch to EMUNAND?( I already tried to launch emunand in hekate by the way)

I have all the backups of the nands, should I try injecting the previous emunand ( which is from a lower firmware) or don't bother with finding the previous and start a new emunand?

The guide you linked only explains how to setup CFW not emuMMC. To setup emuMMC, you have to partition your SD card. Also you are not technically running "stock NAND". You are actually running CFW sysMMC. And the the only risk you are running with CFW sysMMC is that if you go online with it, you can get banned.

Is there a way to convert installed game updates/dlc into nsp?
You dump them with either Goldleaf, NXDumptool, or SD to NSP Dumper.

Hi, is there a way to generate update NSPs from a dumped NAND? Reason I ask is, i have two hackable switches - one that I want to keep original and online and the other I use emuMMC on. I would like to install gamecards to the second one and grab the updates without going online on it. Is this possible? Google fails me so far...

You have to use the Nintendo Switch SD to NSP Dumper tool.

Thank you for the answer I really appreciate it.
What about incognito rcm? If I use that am I still at risk?

Also with CFW sysMMC do I run the risk off bricking my console with sth like corrupted NSP or any other Homebrew ?

I do not recommend using Incognito as not only has it not been proven to prevent bans but losing your PRODINFO backup means you're banned. And it is very difficult to brick the console with the most common ways being malicious files but these are rare nowadays. Even if you do get bricked, a complete NAND backup including eMMC raw GPP and BOOT0/BOOT1 can recover from 99% of all bricks.

Thank you, but I already read it.

I didn't see anything about version of switch where CFW can be installed.
And, is there a way to keep online ? It is not mentionned.
Your first question can be found in the first page which is the "Before Starting" page although you should be aware CFW is not installed to the console. And you can keep the console online but you risk a ban when doing so.

Just want to check nothing has changed since I last read up on it.
If I hack my switch using a jig, enable autorcm, create emunand immediately via hekate and only use emunand for my backups/hacks etc. Not going online ever on emunand.

My sysnand should be safe in playing my cart and eshop games right?

Hey I'm new and have been out of the nodding world since Nintendo Wii

Got a pikachu switch a week ago and bought a rcm jig and tested my switch it came back with smashed 0x000 which in turn means its patched but all the info that I so far can find is dated 2019 anyone have new information for 2020 as to if my switch is going to be hackable?

Please don't snark to hard. I tried searching the site to no avail
