I agree that using the installer would probably be the way to go unless if it still contains bugs... :)
Modifying the browser index page seems dangerous to me when you don't have another entry point.

I read about MK8 and if I understand it correctly it needs another hacked wiiu on the same network and moreover it doesn't give you write access to all the memory. So in the end it seems to me that there isn't another viable entry point if you screw the browser...

Please don't misunderstand me, I'm really happy that somebody still works on the wiiu scene and propose new solutions. I'm only saying that it would be better to try this when another entry point is available.

I have the same concerns. That's why i asked if it was possible to modify indexiine.
It would be dope if hbl can boot after clicking an icon inside the browser.
That way, we can still use the browser.

access any webpage and without closing the browser, open the mii channel
This part is confusing: access any webpage and without closing the browser, open the mii channel. How can I open the mii channel without closing the browser?

@Panda395 Press Home and quit.
Browser will load previous page being StartPage a couple of seconds exploit Indexiine loads up HOMEBREWLAUNCHER.

Or you can Boot Mocha or whatever you just swap contents of the HOMEBREWLAUNCHER Folder.

@Gaara4 You are missing payload files.

Some require extra payload data check my posts couple threads back I explain it I warned about this because I knew peeps would have issues using Installer.

@GaryOderNichts These the extra payload files needed on SDCard just incase someone asks you this was what I meant in earlier post I made about Installer.

Are you talking about that weird payload_0seepromu.elf? This is not needed. The ROP Chain and initial payload from Indexiine are exactly the same as the one from JSTypeHax and only need the payload.elf at /wiiu. I have no Idea what the other file is but it is not needed (Maybe it is part of one of the weird spanish modifications from the video).

Edit: I found out what the file is: It is a renamed homebrew_launcher.elf from Homebrew Launcher v1.3.
Code:
sha1sum
19e6e6945c795d7ad5dcbf4c04d9a4ef587bd3da homebrew_launcher.elf
19e6e6945c795d7ad5dcbf4c04d9a4ef587bd3da payload_0seepromu.elf

I don't know why it is there but it is not needed.

Edit 2: The extra payload is probably needed since the video has a different payload.elf
Code:
sha1sum
a2841c2dfc85177bf6fbab59b910719fed17a8dc payload.elf
0468f0909e7582de33a62a700d6e9d3cc8a5fd99 payload.elf
The 1st one is the one from wiiu-env that is used for JSTypeHax the 2nd one is from the video files.
I don't know where this payload is coming from but if you use the payload.elf from wiiu-env the other payload is not needed

Edit 3:
The payload.elf from the video seems to be some sort of spanish modification that loads the payload_0seepromu.elf instead of the homebrew_launcher.elf...

@GaryOderNichts

I know it pretty odd the reason I mentioned because my WiiU requires the additional home folder with whatever inside otherwise it just Crashes.

I have X2 PAL 5.5.3.E WiiUs and both require those additional files with that said others have updated to 5.5.4 and then used Indexiine without those additional files I mentioned.

So some people may need those altered files like myself that is what I meant at first sorry I should have explained more in beginning about those additional files by Spanish guy.

Can you try it with the payload.elf from here: https://github.com/wiiu-env/homebrew_launcher_installer/releases/tag/v1.4
This is really weird since the only modification of the other payload is that it has been translated to spanish and it uses a different path to load the HBL from.

Initially Indexiine.html and payload linked via johnnyp did not work to make matters worse I deleted instead of overwrite.

Which left me with some file permission or some weird file corruption that I thankfully got fixed thanks to another member pointing out via a py script.

But it just crashed instead of loading a couple others had same problem so if your work is based on Original Files by Op JohnnyP other Peeps are going to run into issues too without those files from in video I know that they appear basically the same I found it odd myself but whatever the modification it worked for me and others.

I dont use everything, Indexiine.html, payload.elf and home folder the rest is just mods of HBL as far as I can tell.

I use latest HBL with DPad support.
PAL 5.5.3.E with update folder deleted.

Even when I swapped HBL with Mocha files it still crashed and yes I tryed that payload too.

Hi Core,
Which entry point did you use to fix it if the browser was crashing? Did you have haxachi already installed?
Thanks!

Weird... I try to investigate this a little bit further and maybe create my own modification that is not spanish and is open source.

Edit: One more question: Does u.wiidb.de work for you with the payload.elf NOT from the video?
If not this may be a problem not specific to indexiine.

u.wiidb.de work perfect, JohnnyP was stumped too.

The payload.elf from the video seems to be some sort of spanish modification that loads the payload_0seepromu.elf instead of the homebrew_launcher.elf...
hello, the payload you mention is a simple path modification, which instead of opening homebrew, opens iosuhax.elf (successor to signpatcher) which was some lost contributions from dimok and that I never published on github, as I launch mocha then iosuhax. elf was forgotten.

now the file you mention payload_0seepromu.elf is only renamed iosuhax.elf.

can you post the hash of your payload_0seepromu.elf?
in the SD inside the wiiu folder is:

payload.elf with the path modification.

payload_0seepromu folder and inside payload_0seepromu.elf (iosuhax) and I know it because I tried payload_0seepromu.elf opening it from homebrew.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I made my own webhack page named pandahaxx hehehe.

this is an alternative to people who cannot use indexiine since by default it opens only one .elf

and my version of webhack you can choose:
homebrew
mocha fshax
mocha fat32
loadiine gx2

this webhack requires my payloads

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

IDEA FOR INDEXIINE:

I need help to make a .elf dedicated to open other .elf (advantages: choose another very used cfw (mochafat32) all this using indexiine, who can help me?

How can it be iosuhax if it has the hash from hbl v1.3?

I can help. With .elf do you mean a payload or a homebrew application?

@GaryOderNichts

Hey man the files im using are from the pack that Spanish guy made.

Payload.elf
index.html
home folder with that other elf?

That is all I use from the pack I get exploit loaded which I have setup for HBL Latest with DPad Support.

I then load CFW or Homebrew from there.
I use nothing else from that pack it all does look foreign compared to everything else others seem to use.
