So let me make it clear off the RIP, I DO NOT CARE IF I GET BANNED. I hacked my switch on 3.0 something so I never had the chance at a clean sysNAND.

So anyways, I didn't know my switch was connected to my friends WiFi and when I turned Airplane mode off it auto connected no big deal. Well a bunch of NSP (you know where I got them ;) ) tried to update. I can play the games perfectly fine still, its just annoying when I launch them I have to cancel the "A new update is available" stuff then I can continue into the game. To also add I almost immediately noticed and disconnected from the WiFi

This is not NORMAL UPDATE NAG. I'm talking about NSP eShop updates.

My question, can I clear theses messages permanently? I'm not going to be home for a few weeks due to quarantine and can't access my PC stuff to get the actual game updates.

--If you are talking about GAME-Updates--
Which updates are available is encoded inside the Switches FW... (independent of any wifi connection)
but the most permanent fix is to simple pull the update from another switch (for any given game):
to make the message go away.

Other than that: Tough luck.
Even incognito can't fix this, as -already said- it won't work without editing the fw.

-If you are talking about a pending system updates nag-
In order to enter Recovery Mode, the following combination must be performed:With the system powered off, press and hold Volume Down + Volume Up;Press the Power button while still holding Volume Down + Volume Up;Let go of the Power button and keep holding Volume Down + Volume Up until the maintenance applet shows up.
Then simply exit the RecovMode and the nag might go away
https://switchbrew.org/wiki/Boot_Modes
1.) Enter recovery mode
2.) Just exiting the recovery menu deletes the nag

Stay cautious, keep a nand backup, together with boot0 and boot1
BTW: Regardless of whether you "don't care about being banned"
If you are on EmuMand, don't waste your devices potential and use Incognito to remove device data.
No need to needlessly get banned...
(At the very least it would improve resell value.)

I had this problem myself mohts ago.

1. Enter recovery mode.
2. Just turn off your console while in recovery mode screen.
3. Turn in on.
4. Profit.

I am referring to GAME UPDATES. This is exactly what happened.

I was on FW 8 something. All my NSP games were V 1.0.0 (I just never update games roast me if you want)
I updated to 9.1 for ACNH the day it leaked.
I turned off AP mode and my switch auto connected to WiFi
All my games tried to update via the eShop.
Any time I launch a game now it tells me to either "download the update" or I can cancel it and continue into the game.

Use something like Tinfoil to remove game update version requirements or update the games. I don't know why you wouldn't just update the games.

To keep this from happening in the future, you should install Incognito or 90DNS.
