Fallout 76 will be free on Steam for those that already own the game on the Bethesda.net Launcher

Want to get back into the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout 76? Bethesda is more than willing to accommodate players who already bought the game on PC, by giving them a free Steam copy if they own Fallout 76 on their Bethesda.net Launcher. The Steam version of the game will be releasing on April 14th, alongside the Wastelanders expansion. All you need to do to claim your free copy is to visit Bethesda's official website, included in the source link below, where you can link your Steam and Bethesda.net accounts. If you do so before April 12th, the game will be added to your Steam library upon launch. In the Steam version, your game progress and character will transfer over, though any in-game currency bought on the Bethesda launcher will not.

I actually bought this game when it was released as it is my very first Fallout game I own and cared about (a Multiplayer Fallout game was all I asked and cared about), and honestly, it's really not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I had my fare share of fun in this game, meeting with other players and having adventures together. It's really a game for friends, but I can see why it'll be pretty lame for the SP audience.

They should just release it for free, it worked wonders to destiny 2.
But that's because Destiny 2 had a core worth salvaging. Every single part of FO76 is hot garbage. Even if it was "good" by Bethesda standards, it still wouldn't be worth playing without the ability to mod it.

It's not because of youtubers that people hate it. I bought it after all the hate videos to give it a chance and it literally is a pile of shite.
Well it it's not that bad after all, I played it for a few weeks about a year ago and it was fun, at least until at some point there was a huge level gap in the main quest that I was unable to bridge unless I grinded mindlessly. I searched everywhere and couldn't find more side quests and that is something I hate in a game. I was like level 25 and next main quest continued at 32, and grinding that kind of gap is just a pain in the ass. That made me lose interest
