Homebrew Is this SD card setup properly for wup installer to correctly install a game ?

all the updates and DLC is lumped together in the same folder

homebrew version 5.5.4 on the wii u

do I just load up wup installer and install them all ?

Is this wrong ?

Hello.

It looks good.I would recommend to use the Folder Name "install" instead of "INSTALL".
(If you have used the USB Helper for the Download than all is set and ready to go).

With the WUP-Installer GX2 you can "mark" a single,some,few or all Games/Updates/DLC to Install.
It is your Choice.

Please be sure you have enough Space left on your HDD.

just to confirm, I am able to run wup installer without officially installing homebrew, if I just load wupinstaller and install the games ?

Please keep in Mind without a Custom Firmware (CFW),you can only install Content that has been signed by Nintendo.
You maybe have noticed this on he USB Helper if you look on some "Entries" have the Note "Only with CFW".

So if you do not have some,then you maybe can not "use" all your downloaded Material.

I do want DLC but I find the hack too difficult to do.

Could I LEGALLY buy the DLC for a pirated game on my wii u? Or will nintendo detect it and ban the whole console?

You can buy it if you want, as long you don't cheat online you wouldn't really get a ban on the Wii U.

do you have to install updates and dlc at the same time as the base game? i cant seem to get the installer to see the files i used usb download helper to get the files

No they can be installed anytime however ensure the files you downloaded are complete, also check there are no special characters in the game name and make sure your sd card path is simply
sd/install/folder with the update files for your game
sd/install/folder with the dlc files for your game.
