I dont want to take away from your, or anybody else's sense of accomplishment, but I posted this back on page 19 https://gbatemp.net/threads/animal-...ering-glitches-bugs-etc-thread.560199/page-19 and I don't think there has been more than 1-2 pages that has gone by since where somebody didn't either ask, or post their version of this same cheat. Heck, Im not even the first, I just was the first to post the Bunny Day stuff when 1.1.0 was new.

I know this is a pretty messy thread to search through, but there is no way you can't find that post or the countless reposting of the cheat for each version if you search the thread.

I know Bunny Day is finally here and there is a sudden rush of people looking for the new items and codes but please try to look first, you are not even the tenth person to repost the same information on DIY recipes, and/or Bunny Day recipes. I don't mean any offense to you specifically, it's more of me making a point that maybe it's time to update the OP to include this information. This thread is just an endless dump of people reinventing the wheel over and over and it's becoming near impossible for people to share new information in the endless slue of people CONSTANTLY posting and reposting inventory/DIY stuff and people asking for a new variation of the exact same thing...
Well you're not exactly the first person with the bunny stuff and all. I, for example find out all my stuff by myself, if you have a look at page 9 and 18 (https://gbatemp.net/threads/animal-...s-bugs-etc-thread.560199/page-18#post-8982193).

But I know what you mean, it's not easy to take this place clean. I'm just taking requests and posting the codes for newer versions and some, I haven't seen, yet.

what are the new 1.1.2 codes to insert item ids into? like slot 1 custom item id, slot 2, etc?
Just use the codes from v1.1.1, they didn't change. Just change the ID of the item/recipe and you're good to go.

Sorry I missed your post, I've gone ahead and deleted my post, you deserve the credit for figuring it out first

You didn't need to do all that, I've said many times in the past that I don't believe anybody deserves credit for that bastardized cheat. I don't even know who wrote the original modifier to the cheat at this point to be honest. People just really need to understand exactly how the cheat works because it's far easier to understand how to use the cheat properly than to constantly ask or post for a new variation of the cheat for the specific items they are looking for. Im just trying to help people learn to fish...

To put it into context this is like asking for a 999,999,999 money cheat in a super popular game, but having a new person come along every other post to request a new variant because they want 222,222,222 money,123,456,789 money, or 777,777,777 money, and none of them realizing that they are all asking for the same cheat, and if they learned how to modify the value properly they can do whatever they want with it.

Im glad you understand how to use the cheat, you are at least making the effort, but this thread certainly cannot handle every possible item as if it's a separate cheat. (and thats not mentioning everytime it changes for an update)

The only ones available at the moment that I can find are ones for DIY recipes. I mentioned it earlier.

From what I have seen the Item modifier addresses have not changed since at least 1.1.0. I just updated today and all my original Item cheats worked. I only had to change the cheats for money/miles, speed, and no clipping.

Well you're not exactly the first person with the bunny stuff and all. I, for example find out all my stuff by myself, if you have a look at page 9 and 18 (https://gbatemp.net/threads/animal-...s-bugs-etc-thread.560199/page-18#post-8982193).

I think you posted a link to the wrong post. That's just you mentioning how the cheat works (like many of us have now) and you used the gold nugget as an example. On page 9 you just posted a compilation of all the cheats from Mathias thread (I'll give you credit for writing them much cleaner though. Those useless pointers were sloppy) immediately after page 18 is my post. I didn't see any bunny day stuff prior to my post (because the 1.1.0 with that information was literally brand new at that point) and made a point to catalog it similar to how imthe666th did with their pastebin so people didn't have to ask for it for what inevitably became 90 pages anyway...

Eitherway, Im not fighting for credit here. I've always believed it was a joint effort from both threads. I try not to take credit for anything in this game because it's been passed around FAR too much.

so in NHSE you can use the recieved items code to get everything. but it seems to stop you from being able to upgrade your inventory slots. stuck at 20 since i turned it on and i guess it technically gave me them but i dont have the change in my inventory. any fix for that?

Your item pointer codes worked? Mine kept getting blank DIYs or just didn't work in general. Those ones are:

04100000 AC3B90C4 00000XXX

I haven't really had a need to mess around with NHSE so Im just spitballin' here, but you might be in a tight spot. The inventory expanding items are actual items, but you can't actually use them. I found this out one night when I edited them into my game, and dropped it on the floor, and spent the rest of the night finding the address for items placed in your house because you can't pick them up or interact with them in any way.

You might need to use a backup save, figure out how to hack those items back into the Nook Store, or wait until NHSE has a build that corrects the problem.

Im going to have to double-check just to make sure. I don't use the same cheats as everybody else because Im technically the second character on the island (my daughter is the first, she just couldn't wait :P) so my inventory is stored in a different place than yours. Give me a minute.

EDIT: Yeah, I just checked, and they were the same for me. I went from 1.1.0 to 1.1.2a today for the new event, and I spent about 30 minutes finding codes I already had that's why I knew which ones I had to change and which ones I didn't.

Is it guaranteed to have a villager on the mystery island if you have an empty plot? After I invited Ankha on one of the islands today, I didn't encounter anyone after that. Are there limitations on inviting villagers?

I think so. I think the only time that doesn't happen is when you have that first campsite visitor you are forced to take so there is a small amount of time you end up in an awkward situation you have a plot that is taken you just don't know it yet because they havent taken it. After that as long as you have 1 spot open you will somebody on mystery island. (and I certainly tested it to the limit when I bruteforced my way to the new villagers.)

[Slot 3 x30]

[Slot 4 x10]

Im not going to waste time looking for cheats I already have, and I already know works just because you can't get them to work. I can only help you so much.

If you are struggling that much do a search for "8B214115" (miles default multiplier) and "6B010114" (money default multiplier) You shouldn't even need more than one search for those.

For the Slot 1 cheat I don't know why it's not working for you. To fix your problem use this link https://pastebin.com/B8N5KKsh CTRL+F whatever item is in your first Slot. Search for that value, change that Item or leave it blank (Blank= FFFE iirc) and look for that new value. You will find that address in like 2-3 searches tops.

Despite this game initially being kinda tough to figure out, it's one of the most simple games to make cheats for since all the important addresses so far have all been static HEAP addresses. Even if it looks intimidating all you have to do to update any of these cheats is swap out the old addresses for the new ones, dont even worry about the values. They are all the same.

So what I did is delete all the previous villagers and forced the first villager that I encountered on the island as Ankha. After that I did not encounter anyone on the island, I still have 8 more empty plot open. Is this an awkward situation?

Sounds like it, If I had to take a guess it has something to do with the save editor, the game, and you not all being on the same page.

It's possible they are all taken but you don't know it yet. It's also possible that those blank villagers are not actually blank and the game is trying to load in dummy villagers, it could be many things. That's what happens when you screw around with code. How exactly did you delete the previous villagers? Was it in game, did you just find a random blank spot in the editor, or load up the "empty villager dump"?

I would trying skipping ahead a day and see if people move into those spots. If that doesn't do anything then go back to the save editor and fill those spots in with actual villagers and see what happens.

The way I deleted the villagers was loading up "empty village dump" to delete all of them, then I restore the save and save in-game to make sure that all the plots are empty. So I tried to skip one day and end up encountering a new villager and be able to enforce it. Thank you very much for your guide, but I also have a question about enforcing the villager. I am on 1.1.1a right now, "the mystery villager editor" you provided also worked on this version. However, the Villager ID 33 is for Stinky and 39 is for Ankha. Is there any chance you can help/explain me how to figure out the id for Raymond? Thank you!

yes it's guaranteed to have a villager on Mystery Island. HOWEVER you can only invite 1villager from Mystery Island per day.

Im not on 1.1.0 anymore Im on 1.1.2a atm I don't know how that differs from 1.1.1a since I skipped over it.

So I tried to explain forcing characters but it's tricky to explain in text.

GROUP 1
04, 00, Bob = 30
04, 01, Mitzi = 31
04, 02, Rosie = 32
04, 03, Olivia = 33
04, 04, Kiki = 34
04, 05, Tangy = 35
04, 06, Punchy = 36
04, 07, Purrl = 37
04, 08, Moe = 38
04, 09, Kabuki = 39

GROUP 2
04, 0A, Kid Cat = 30
04, 0B, Monique = 31
04, 0C, Tabby = 32
04, 0D, Stinky = 33
04, 0E, Kitty = 34
04, 0F, Tom =35
04, 10, Merry = 36
04, 11, Felicity = 37
04, 12, Lolly = 38
04, 13, Ankha = 39

GROUP 3
04, 14, Rudy = 30
04, 15, Katt = 31
04, 17, Raymond = 32

Okay, so if you notice Stinky is in Group 2, this means with my cheat you can only force somebody else from group 2, this is why Stinky is 33, and Ankha is 39. If you found somebody from Group 1, 33 would have been Olivia, and 39 would have been Kabuki.

Raymond, Rudy, and Katt are difficult because they are the only villagers in the game in Group 3 so the only way to force them is to literally find Rudy, Katt, or Raymond. (or find the address that tells the game which group you are in, which I didnt)

It doesn't matter what species you come across, it only matters what group they are in. Goldie is group 1 and as long as you have the right species code you could force any cat, hippo, hamster, etc... also from group 1. Again, there is no other species with group 3. Only cats have a group 3 so your options are limited (but you are now 3x more likely to get Raymond at least...)

If you don't know what group the villager is in you can use this link https://raw.githubusercontent.com/C...ources/v1/Text/Villagers/VillagerNames_en.txt or the save editor. (the Save Editor has pictures which helps identifying villagers easier, for me at least)

Starting with the first villager count up 9 and that's your first group, and everybody after that is group 2 (except Raymonds group of course)

So this means forcing is depending on what the villager spawn on the mystery island?

In all honesty that link is what I've been using for my item codes. However, when I asked about what you got for the rest of the cheats, I wasn't really asking you to waste time looking for them again. I know you said search, but however I'm pretty new at how searching works for the Switch. When you say search, what tool are you using? I know there's a save editor, but I wasn't aware if that could do searching like that.

In all honesty that link is what I've been using for my item codes. However, when I asked about what you got for the rest of the cheats, I wasn't really asking you to waste time looking for them again. I know you said search, but however I'm pretty new at how debugging works for the Switch. When you say search, what tool are you using? I know there's a save editor, but I wasn't aware if that could do searching like that.

You could use the Save Editor, but the save editor is really just doing exactly what cheat tools like Jnoex, SXOS and Edizon do minus giving you the freedom to look around yourself. I can't comment too much on it since I don't use it for anything other than a visual reference for villagers. I use a combination of Noex and SXOS personally but any cheat engine with a search function is all you need for what you are trying to do, and since you said you were trying my cheats I'd assumed you had one of them.

There is no debugging involved here. That work was already done the very first time. We already have the values we need. The hard part has been done for you. If you follow what I wrote so far you should get what you are looking for, and hopefully understand how to get it in the future so you never have to worry about updates ever again.

Anyway, it's late for me so this is far as I can go. Good luck.
