No, not yet. All item codes don't seem to work besides the DIY recipes.

It's possible to adapt them yes. As far as I'm aware the only cheats I can get to work on 1.1.2a are the cheats for DIY recipes in inventory.

I've played with @hentaikun save and it seems that the bug with 10th villager is easily solved. You just have to perform my method on that 10th villager in order to clear that glitch/bug!

wait a second, so basically we have to take out the 10th villager, replace them with someone entirely different and then we're able to do it to any other villager after that?

No it Only works for the 10th villager if you try and do it for any other villager it duplicates the 10th villager instead of giving you the villager you want

I have no idea either. I've used my method two times and not on the 10th villager so I'm not sure what's causing the glitch with only 10th villager.

I have a sort of amendment to add to this:
The first day of the event is not the date that the event can first be triggered.
Take my example:

You save and end your game on March 31, but you don't end up opening/playing the game until April 2. However, before opening/playing the game on April 2, you backup and edit your save to activate the Bunny Day event (and any other edits you choose). Upon opening and playing the game for the first time since March 31, Isabelle announces the event in the morning announcements, and Zipper (the giant bunny) is wandering somewhere around your island waiting for you to initiate conversation.

That being said, the quoted post is still technically correct, but it is important to note that it need not be the first day of the event's availability for it to be the first day of the event.

that doesn't make any sense, they've done it twice for two different villagers. I just performed the instructions word-for-word and i actually got the same error for the 10th villager house being duped, but the character i set in NHSE was found running around my plaza, so I'm hella confused right now

Can you write your steps in bullet points? I want to make sure it's not user error because we should be able to reproduce what you're doing if you were able to do it on somebody else's save

The Cherry-Blossom Branches is not 1A1 by the way. It's actually 1A3, and every list has it listed wrong too. 1A1 is actually the Trees-Bounty Big Tree.
