I have the latest “unai” renderer version of pcsx for new 3DS. The audio’s tempo is way off, and like I said earlier in a different thread, the emulator forgets polygons. Take a look at this:

Please post what are your settings. Are you using audio sync? If not switch to that. Please check what fps you are getting ingame. There's a setting for this in retroarch. Then there's the async cd reads you can enable in options.

Still, I would be surprised if this game runs smoothly on the N2ds/3ds.

My settings are all speedhacks apart from audio, which I don't care about. I use: desync audio, 3 speedhacks (All of them) and other settings like disable lighting.

I do not care about the audio's tempo, but rather the slowdown. In the image, I gave you a shot of what happened. Do you see polygons missing on the side of the Chrysler?

Kind of offtopic, but WiiSXR's GT2 experience was glitchy too. If I banged my car somewhere, it would ricochet like a rubber ball lol. (no need to answer this, I looked at the compat list and said GT2 was "unplayable").

Also, when racing time trial, it plays at a silky smooth 0-4 FPS. sounds are fine though.

Okay, I jist played Gran Turismo 1 on my N2DSXL, and it was much better than GT2's glitchy mess. 30 FPS and smoother than I expected.

Usually this fix most of the problems, imao:
Notes: If you see black lines all over the screen just set Forced Interlace and Pixel Skip to Off. Setting Video and Audio Sincronization OFF usually boost a lot the FPS but you can keep audio sync on to limit fps if you need. You can also set: CD Read Method: Async and dithering off.
You can also set frameskip to 1 if you need....
Remember to convert the game to chd. It's really important.
