Homebrew [NDS] Forwarder CIAs for your HOME Menu

I tried forwarding both Black Sigil and FFT:A2. I received a .CIA for Black Sigil but I'm only getting an .nds file for FFT:A2. The FAQ says this happens when using an x86 system but I'm using x64 and it works for black Sigil, so I'm not sure what's going on. Any ideas?

Try shortening the ROM's filename.

Hello everyone

I came to the whole 2ds custom firmware game 4 days ago. Set up everything and everythings working. Did also a whole lot of reading throughhomebrew and everything.

To my question:
Is it possible to use twilight and the forwarder side by side, because i saw i need to replace some files in _nds folder that already exist from twilight.
I'd like to have my pokemon nds games on the 3ds homescreen and all my other nds roms in twilight menu. (Sry for my english)
Is that in any way possible?

Just replace the files and both the Cia forwarded games and ones booted in TWiLight Menu will work.

I got the cia files, but I can't seem to install them on the system.

I'm using FBI and i have a New 3DS XL using the latest luma

I have the cia files cause it said Success on the Forwader, but i can't seem to install them through FBI on my New 3DS XL?

What if theres an update for twilight and i am overwriting the files again. Whats the best way to update twilight menu without messing up the forwarder? Sry for the questions, i just try to understand everything.

I just update twilight menu the normal way and the forwarders still work as normal.

Quick question, I want to use a cheat on a game I'm playing through forwarders, but having trouble. How can I go about it? Moving it to Desmume gives me issues with the save file, No$GBA needs NDS BIOS files and too lazy to go look for them and so on... I just need to use an EXP cheat on KH:358/2D to get lots of level up panels now that I beat the story (currently at lv80 after some grinding and good use of panels) and want to be lv99 to make sure I get the best record in Mission Mode to get the most crowns (since you get 2-10 crowns ONLY the first time you beat those and subsequent runs only give you 1 so want to get as many as possible as fast as possible) plus so I won't have to re-do sigil missions a dozen times each for perfect score... Any help with using the cheat?

For now, you need to patch the ROM using DSATM.

A tool that attempts to add cheats to a ROM so you can use cheats and things like slow motion (standard CPU flood slow motion) on a cart/emulator that does not support the cheats or if you simply want cheats hardpatched into the ROM.

Thanks! A LOT of links in the download section are down in general, especially for older things making simple stuff like that take ages, someone should really go through the download section and mark what works and what doesn't...
