How do I know if this works? I imported the BCAT but nothing happened. Also, is it important to mention that in the first boots of JKSV, I keep getting this image of this weird guy instead of my games and profiles?

I've backup the BCAT but when i restored with Directories Selected, i lost my SAVE DATA. HOW??? Anything to help me solving this?

You should have backup the save file. Anything now would probably be too late. You can try importing the old bcat though, after deleting the directories.

Well i have like 10 BCAT Backup and done also 2 backup but they are all Passphrase.bin in with no Content. I've tried to restore each of them without success

BCAT has nothing to do with your actual savefile. That is in the system folder bot the BCAT folder.

So unless you messed up something there you can't delete your savefile by just editing BCAT...

dude I’ve made this as friendly as possible. Copy the ‘directories’ folder into your bcat folder. Job done

100% correct. BCAT’s are not saves. Please retrace your steps to figure out what or where you went wrong.

my guide is pretty straight forward.
Hope you recover that save somehow ‍

Yes in your just made backup folder on your SD card. Then restore that one.

I've got a question.
I have followed all of the steps, put the directories folder into the bcat folder, restored it, started up animal crossing and I see the version 1.1.1 a on the title screen.
But when I startup the game, there's no easter event. Do I have to wait for the next day for the event to start or did something go wrong?

I had this same problem when dumping my save for use with the backup manager. I had to use the "Backup All" button. I only had 2 games in there so it didn't effect anything. After you use the DUMP ALL button you will see it backup the games and you can just delete any other games that were backed up.

Probably did something wrong because it should say 1.1.1a

i haven’t heard this one yet, wouldn’t know what to suggest. At least it’s updated to ver 1.1.1a. Try restarting the console. It worked for me first time.

Question, when you said "COPY THE "DIRECTORIES" FOLDER TO YOUR BCAT FOLDER" you mean the folder of the animal crossing backup? or there is an bcat folder? because I cant find it. and another one, this works on south america? because I can see the eu, asia and us flags only. thanks

Just wanted to update this and say thanks OP

So for the lazy ones like me who don't want to use a pc, if you have sysftpd lite set up and an app on your android like solid explorer or ES file explorer, you can do the entire set up and copy the files via ftp to your switch without the need to remove the card and update jksv too.

Then the event is active. the bunny should be somewhere on the island. The actual townspace has to wait untill the 12th.

Are these files somehow bound to the NNID that downloaded them? Will I have issues (like getting banned) if I import my save to my sysnand sometime in the future?

This has nothing to do with your savefile. It's system bound file. So no...
