Does having both create an issue with the forwarder I have? If I recall correctly, the forwarder I'm using worked for both Wii64 and Not64.

well your fowarder probably looks for wii64 folder and boot.dol inside, if you want both you need to have a fowarder that looks for wii64 and one that looks for not64.
heck i have 3 fowarders
one looks for not64
other for wii64
and other for wii64rice
Wow! Is there any way you can upload your files for that (no need to include roms)? That would be really helpful!
soz i lost my instal files long ago.
basycaly fowarders look for paths so you can even use other program fowarders for instance wiiflow fowarder probably looks for apps/wiiflow/boot.dol or loader.dol so replace that one with wii64 or wii64rice or not64 dol file and wiiflow fowarder will open them and so on.

Okay I actually use USB Loader bit it should be the same. I’ll look into this, thanks!
what i mean is download any fowarder you can find from programs you dont use and then replace the boot.dol
becuase wii is ppc and this is already a port of muppen64 ... remenber the wii have very limited cpu and ram available and dynarec needs to be ppc based , so you cant just port something easily.

I know, Wii is trash compared to other 7th gen consoles. Hopefully it could happen one day.
what didnt happen on its prime wont happen now almost for sure, since the homebrew comunity just disapeared, specialy for a project where you have to do years of work.
ps3 and xbox360 here hacked and their n64 emulators werent better even tough they were stronger so meh.
The original xbox can emulate n64 pretty good last time i checked. If you have 1 or if you were ever interested in the system you could get 1 and try it on there. its a built in combo of project 64, 1964, and uhle emulators with a bit of mupen64 involved. Its called surreal64 ce.

I tried Surreal64 on the Xbox, it's a lot better than the one on the wii. I think what helps is that the Xbox is more similar to a PC than other consoles, so emulation is easier.
compatibility and speed is not much better than wii64 tbh, many games that have issues have the same issues on wii64 becuase they only have old video pluggins on all 3 emulators sadly, so meh you gain on some games and loose on others.
now with the Wii's source code allegedly leaked we could get some beneficial updates about N64 emulation hopefully..

I have tried both and they are almost the same however playing Goldeneye with the wiimote+nunchuck combo is truly amazing.
