Meh... tell me when the Ps4 reach EoF and a exploit is out. More interesting to be honest.

It's a pity that all exploits are super old. No homebrew can live with that. Releasing an old kernel only interests pirates. The true homebrew can be made when the console has a homebrew sdk and a recent exploit. And most importantly interests developers.

Eol exploits suck because who will write homebrew if there s no interest anymore... Ps5 will be out by then and the homebrew scene will move on... Ps4 is super awful when it comes to homebrew. Not worth the wait. Just uodate and enjoy the console... Nothing to see here sadly.

PS Vita begs to differ that system is dead and has quite a few good brews yes piracy is more ramped with refood but still alot more homebrew potential for the ps4 plus linux is more advanced on ps4 than on ps3 (RRL for ps3 still doesn't have RSX (GPU) accel iirc)

I hope the exploit come this month i must stay home until End of April in Italy.i will play Red Dead Redemption with my PS4 on 5.05 for 2 years.

Also any idea if it will be possible to spoof to latest fw to sync trophies/saves etc before doing/installing anything else after an exploit is out? So only legit stuff would be on my system besides whatever I'd need to spoof. I know psn is gonna be a no go, but does that mean mean the whole network, including sync, or just the store/online play?

There is no guarantee, but yeah 6.20 should theoretically be safe to update to.

As for PSN/Trophy sync/spoof: do not count on it, ever, even in future.

With lockdown in full effect you never know what devs can spend their newfound spare time working on.... but I can guarantee it won’t be today...

Similar situtation, live on Turkey, which is more fu*ked if you ask me, and waiting for Marvel Spiderman. Also schools are gone to september lol. This is the biggest holiday I have ever seen in my entire life.

Wouldn't that just mean that cfw on the ps3 is under developed / hasn't reached full potential?

Some ps3 homebrew things I think are cool:

Swapping out a broken bluray drive (or bypassing it)
Cheats/mods/saves
Using a non-sony controller (xbox, nintendo)

Cool homebrew things on other platforms:

Vita homebrew (sd2vita) lets you store stuff on a micro sd card instead of the expensive vita cards.
wii homebrew (Wiimmfi) enables private servers after nintendo discontinued the service.
