There are obviously technologies created only to spy on each individual, your own cellphone is proof of that. The only difference is an Android has to say something to you to 'play it fair', but in other times, your apple phone will not tell you at all that your information is recorded. That is the only difference. Now Google is getting more cunning with privacy, Microsoft is already there.
So to start off, what are your weird experiences with technology without getting too technical?
We all know governmental equipment is not the same as our laptops, phones, and receivers. They have us all in their grasp with even far more advanced technology, due to funding and resources.
Basically, name an experience, howsoever weird it is, that you had on a IT Device.
I'll go first:
I have heard about a man who had a laptop with windows 10, it never was connected to Wi-Fi. But somehow after a year, it magically updated mysteriously for him. He says he suspects some sort of additional frequency of sending data to the laptop's processor, memory, etc, to update it without detection. We all know Windows 10 was made to spy on us; just look at what it asks you on installation lol.
Let's create a nice thread, free from satirical-ness.
