Hello All. I'm ready to start fresh and use EmuMMC. However, i'm confused about how to do this with multiple SD Cards. Currently I run Atmosphere or SX OS on three cards. 2 Cards are used for my games and a third card is used for my emulators. My switch is on 6.1.0.

Here is my question.
Can I keep this three card layout and add a fourth card that i insert when i want to play online? Basically, three cards with CFW and one smaller one with OFW?

If this is possible how do i format them and how should i set up my partitions? Thanks for any help!

Is your goal to go online? If so, you need to restore a clean NAND if you want to avoid risk of a ban.

Nevermind: Misread your post

Nonetheless, you need a clean NAND to restore.

Also, swapping SD cards won't do a thing to prevent a ban.

the metadata for the games should be on the NAND itself, not the sd card, because if you swap cards, all of your games should still be listed. you can archive or delete them, but I don't think that's going to have any barring on being banned.

I'm doing this but keeping one card for my clean sysnand and another for the dirty emunand. Was kinda straight forward but you are talking about multiple emunand... Have no experience there

For anyone who discovers this question and wants to know what I ended up doing here is my solution.

1 - OFW Card. Clean and formatted FAT32. Set this up by booting the switch into official firmware with a clean sysNAND and having the switch format it.
2 - CFW Card 1. Formatted FAT32 with 2 partitions (one 30GB partition and the second partition including the rest of the free space),
3 - CFW Card 2. Formatted FAT32 with 2 partitions (one 30GB partition and the second partition including the rest of the free space),
4 - CFW Card 3. Formatted FAT32 with 2 partitions (one 30GB partition and the second partition including the rest of the free space),

All I had to do was format each card as seen above and insert it in the switch while booting Hekate. I used the latest version to set up SysNAND and EmuMMC. I then repeated the process for each SD Card.
Now, if i want to boot into official firmware and play online I make sure the switch is completely off, insert the OFW card, and just power on.
If i want to boot into custom firmware for homebrew or backups I make sure the switch is completely off and boot into Hekate and then launch CFW (EmuMMC) and i'm g2g.

Did you restore a clean NAND before you did this?

Did you restore to clean NAND before doing this?

I suggest you read my posts in this thread.
CFW + OFW on the same sd card, with two emummc, seems to me a much better and more practical configuration than yours.
