I STILL have absolutely no clue what's wrong with my wii when it runs homebrew. can someone please explain why i can't hear anything while using Retroarch? Tried shuffling settings around, Didn't work, Used defaults, Didn't work, Crashed. (<--- pretty badly (ew))
Nothing is working, and no threads i've seen even OUTSIDE GBATEMP have been answered.
Sound works fine on home menu and in settings, as well as in games (This is a homebrew only issue.)
strhax on unknown (very vannila outside hb menu itself) wii version, will get wii version if needed but please don't ask immediately, i want to pile up some suggestions here so i can use them.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
No, sorry, just kidding.

Perhaps delete the config file and try again, or copy any core and rename it to boot.dol and see if that works.

Doesn't work, No sound when enabling menu sounds either.
For what you're mentioning that this is just Retroarch, try downloading everything from scratch, maybe updating your version.

I'm using an old version (if I'm not mistaken I'm using RetroArch 7.5) which I believe is from two years ago.

Try with that version, and don't forget to use the cores bundled with that version.

EDIT: 1.7.5 from 25/02/2019
