If you have to do something like this instead of being able to download it normally that makes the servers shit.

I didn't even know about it before that speed limitation this week.

Um. No. it has ZERO to do with the servers. What it actually means is that their servers are fine and are allowing full speed downloads. It's a PS4 firmware issue, not a server issue.

I also JUST timed the download, installation, and setup of CC Proxy and setting up the proxy setting on the PS4. Total time was 2m 11s. But I guess, if a person would rather wait the 10 hrs to download a game. Shrug.

Sorry, no idea. I do not have a Switch. If it allows for proxy settings in it's internet connection, then yes, you can do it. Although whether or not it effects the dl speed on a Switch is something I have no knowledge of. You could always try it out and report back for other Switch users.

I used CCproxy for the switch, but to filter out nintendo's servers and allow other websites.
I don't think it'll change the connection speed though.

Having to go through all this because sony put a bottleneck on speed makes this even worse. Stop defending this garbage

You're completely failing to understand. No one defended anything. They could simply fix it with a FW update but they refuse. I'm not defending it, I'm letting people know there is a 100% working method to get around it. Huge difference. And "having to go through all of this"? C'mon. It takes TWO MINUTES to download, install, and set up. TWO MINUTES!!! But okay, whatever works best for you I guess. If you'd rather it take potentially hours, and hours, and hours longer than necessary to dl a game, instead of simply taking the two minutes to set this up... more power to ya, but then lol and smh.
