Thank you very much!
Could you please can create a code for 10+ wumpa fruit (for use in time trials). Infinite Turbo item also would be very welcome, because time trial even more with developer times is very hard to beat, the new cheats will help a lot!

I think the key to finding the entries to bugs/fish is just to have a fresh newly created save (which has not yet caught a bug). Back up that save, catch a bug.

Then decrypt both of these saves in HorizonCrypt and compare the two saves. There should be two expected differences in personal.dat because there is some kind of checksum or something somewhere in it. Then there is another expected difference because there will now be an entry in the inventory corresponding to the newly caught bug. But elsewhere, if there's a change, it's probably the entry.

I haven't played around with this save editor yet, but I do agree that it's probably better equipped to handle this.

I don't mean the save editor, because it only has predefined functions but a decrypted version of the save folder. Because most hex editors (like hxden, 010 editors etc) have a compare function which will highlight exactly where two files differ. I haven't had the chance to test my theory, however.

I just work with the tools we have, there are people out there much smarter and much more talented than me that can figure out how to decrypt saves, I just know how to poke the data until it does what I want it to. :P

Didn't see those as they're not in the master file. What are the "character" codes doing btw? Unlock them prematurely? Also: thanks a lot!
ok, so here we go. so i did a searching, Skill points addresses appears to static +0x328 from the HP addresses.
so that means:
Code:
[Aurora]
02100000 23E02B40 0001869F

[Rubella]
02100000 24602BC0 0001869F

[Golem]
02100000 246086C0 0001869F

[Finn]
02100000 24601A40 0001869F

[Robert]
02100000 24602140 0001869F

[Norah]
02100000 24601DC0 0001869F

[Oengus]
02100000 246024C0 0001869F

[Gen]
02100000 24602840 0001869F
The Character codes are the battle pointers (at the time, i was just labeling them as i saw, that and this was about half a year ago....)
i may or may not re-look into that, now that we have a new pointer tool.
Update:
Code:
[Left Character Pointer - HP/MP]
58000000 0100C110
58001000 00000080
58001000 000001E0
78000000 00000018
68000000 000003E7 000003E7

[Right Character Pointer - HP/MP]
58000000 0100C110
58001000 00000080
58001000 00000228
78000000 00000018
68000000 000003E7 000003E7
Now, i haven't tested these. but i did use two different memory dumps to reduce the result. so if it doesnt work for you, let me know....
finally, for quick drag-n-drop, i group the code based on what they do....

No item in Animal Crossing is missing, they were posted nearly awhile ago in this pastebin https://pastebin.com/B8N5KKsh by @imthe666st in this thread https://gbatemp.net/threads/animal-...s-bugs-etc-thread.560199/page-22#post-8982806

You guys just have been routinely rewriting the exact same cheat over and over to account for literally hundreds of items without realizing it. It's FAR better to understand the cheats you are using than to rewrite the same cheat literally hundreds of times for every possible permutation to cover every single asset in this game.

any way to make it work on yuzu?

I managed to find something pretty suspicious, what ver. are you on?

With ver 1.1.0 if you search the memory region around HEAP+ 1945B1DC you will find the complete fish list and right above it the complete list of insects.

I don't see much we can do with it though. It just follows a repeating pattern of:
0x00000XXX (Creature ID)
0x000001C1
0xD1000001
...
then repeats to the next fish ID.

I was fortunate enough to already have a rare fish in my encyclopedia so I just searched for the ID and got minimal results. I recommend starting there.
Let me look at it
