The Sweet patches are for Fusee while the Kosmos patches are used with Hekate.
So if I am booting up Atmosphere using the Hekate payload then I would NOT want to use the Sweet Patches, correct?

If your Switch is in RCM for extended periods of time and it has AutoRCM enabled, the console will not be able to charge normally and the battery will die. Also docking the Switch with AutoRCM will leave the console in RCM which will lead to the previously mentioned issue. Lastly, "RCM mode" is redundant because you are literally saying Recovery Mode Mode. You don't say PIN Number, HIV Virus, or ATM Machine do you?So I have my Switch in RCM mode with SXOS and it has been docked for 3-4 weeks. Dock still has power, I checked that first, but my Switch battery drained to nothing.
I'm not sure if I should be shutting the Switch off (hold power for 15 seconds) completely before docking it? I am 99.9% sure I just put it in sleep mode before docking it. What am I missing?
Correct.

Any guide you reccomend to start installing CFW on a switch?
What is the best free cfw right now that also plays nsp? (i also like to use tinfoil if it doesnt give problems)
So, I've updated my switch many times since my nand backup. I don't know if I used autorcm since then, my questions are:
1 - I use atmosphere in sysnand now, there's some app that show me the number of burnt fuses?
2 - I saw some posts saying that's possible to restore a nand and therefore downgrade with burnt fuses using hekate to bypass fuse-count, if I do that, how would I update to match the burnt fuses without getting banned?
3 - If it's possible and successfull, would I be able to use OFW normally without getting banned and install emmunand?
Only certain Switch consoles can be hacked namely the old ones, not the ones in the red boxes. You can check the serial number here.Hello
I am planning to buy a nintendo Switch brand new soon. I want it new to get the unboxing experience.
my question:
Is it fine to hack the switch right out of the box or it will require some set up.
can I set up the switch offline or am I required to be online for the first time. I assume that if i first turn on my switch it will update to the latest firmware.
Do I need to make a nintendo account at all to create the hack.
can every switch up till now be hack and should i buy the white box or red box if the choice will s available.
thanks
https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-tutorial-switch-theme-injector-easily-make-custom-themes.519036/Hey, is there a tool or app that lets you create your own custom themes, like the one for the 3DS?
Use the homebrew application ChoiDujourNX to update your firmware to whatever firmware you give the tool. To "uninstall" ReiNX, you delete the ReiNX and sept folders on your SD card. Setting up Atmosphere is as simple as putting the Atmosphere files & folders on your SD card.Apologies in advance if answers are already provided/obvious. I did do research but I ended up more confused due to the amount of information thrown instead.
My friend modded my switch for me so I don't have much knowledge yet.
Current firmware: 7.0.1 with ReinX
I want to update to the latest firmware, 9.2.0. How do I go about doing so? I've been told not to "uninstall" ReinX (not like I even know how - will be doing more research) and update it but I don't see the harm in it.
I've also been told that I should switch to atmosphere CFW because it's compatible on the latest firmware?
Links I've looked at:
https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/releases/tag/0.10.5
https://switch.homebrew.guide/comparingcfws (to compare CFW's but don't know how updated it is)
I have a first generation switch - definitely moddable, if that helps.
If you want to but you do not have to.Maybe someone can help me with this, I am trying to dump my eshop Bayonetta game using NXDumpTool and there is an option to remove console specific data and generate a ticketless dump... should I use those options?
The Switch supports up to 2 TB SD cards. Will the switch take a 1TB SD card? Or is 512 the max?
Thank you so much for the answer. You would have to update the firmware offline such as with a cartridge or another Switch console

The only way I can think of is to perform a local game update where the second console is running both the firmware you wish to update to as well as a game on a higher version than the first console.Thank you so much for the answer.
So, how would I do it with another Switch console?
