This looks like a successful restore!:)

This is from Wii U NAND Dumper and not from Dump Mii Nand right?

Yes.It is from Wii U NAND Dumper.:)

The other Dump Mii NAND Backup can not be used.

- No Extract possible
- No Restore possible

This is also the Error I am getting with Dump Mii Nand. But nandExtract from wiiqt is able to extract those so they are not corrupted or anything. I try to add support for Dump Mii Nand later.

OK,thank you,that "reliefs" me a little.:D

Thank you your great and quick Support.
This is what makes a really good Homebrew Application.:yay:
I found the issue! Extraction now works! I make another release later.
I also found out about the size difference, Dump Mii Nand attaches the keys to the nand dump. So you wouldn't even need keys for a dump mii nand backup.

There is currently one thing I'm not satisfied with: To fix the modes the program sets the mode of every File to 666. With these modes the vWii boots and works. On the vWii 666 means rw rw rw (I don't think x exists on the vWii, chmod fails with 777) that means that everything can access every file. This should be absolutely no problem on a Wii or vWii. But it bothers me. The Problem is, if I chmod every File to the modes found in the Nand backup the vWii won't boot. I'll try to fix this if I can, so the restorer can restore everything to 100% stock and not only 99%.

@NintnedoGuyin66 I tried your backup and keys and it didn't stop the blackscreen unfortunately, I picked the console up on eBay but the owner left it in this state so it could be another issue I really dont know.

@GaryOderNichts Thanks for the app but no joy for my console, the app appeared to work just fine otherwise.

Hello,

I would like to restore my Nand vWii made via Wii U NandDumper.

Will this restore the Nand perfectly to its factory condition (same SHA1 on each file)?

The SHA1 will be the same on every file. The only thing it does not restore are the file modes. It will set every mode to 0x666 because the vWii wont boot with the modes present in the nand backup for some reason...

Thank you for your answer :)
Weird behavior! What changes to Nand if file modes are set to 0x666?
File modes are like permissions. They describe who can access what. They are split in 3 numbers (Owner, Group, Other). 666 means that anyone has read and write permissions to every file. I don't think this even matters on the vWii. Nothing changes in usability.

Oh ok ! It's still strange behavior ... Is this a problem that you could manage in another version? Or test yourself to see how it is for now?
There may be different behaviors when it is executed by Haxchi or Mocha ...

I spend much time playing around with it. The modes all seem to be set correctly but I'm getting a message like "System files are corruptet" or something. Im not having any ideas how I can fix this at the moment so I have to leave the modes set to 666.

Hi, this tool seems to have frozen at
Created dir: data
extracting STREET0 cluster 1
Did you try it more than once? Does it always freeze at that file? Can you try using nandExtract from the WiiQt tools on your PC to extract the nand and see if there are any bad blocks and if this tool works.
