Anybody know why the weapons don’t work with the cycle item cheat? Like the cheat works but the weapon does not hit them.

Self crafted item doesn't work. IMO I think that's fair too, it's like getting the item on a chest.

No they work perfectly fine you just have to use a weapon that you’ve bought beforehand. Annoying but it’s worth it!!
There is a difference between the Japanese and American versions of the game, so there is potentially some regional settings that prevents cheats from working between different versions. Just to be safe though, I was having similar problems, and got some help explaining that my current Edizon wasn't compatible. Try downloading the one at this link https://github.com/WerWolv/EdiZon/releases/tag/snapshot and see if that helps.
Have another code. Clones slot1 to slot 2 when you press R+Up on the D-Pad. Should work with any item and stack.

Thats the only cheat I'm still looking for. You can edit skill levels with the save editor..but I don't want to max them out or miss out on stat boosts =(
Sorry if this was answered earlier, but I tried searching the thread for 'appearance' and I come up with nothing. I'd like to start with the "Change main character appearance" order already active. I could really use your help.

Download that save and follow the given guide. It allows you to activate the order on a different save and carry it over to your original.
Yeah, I played the game to death on 3DS without cheats. The progression is fun, but it'd be more fun if it was faster. And like you said, if you edit the skill levels, you lose out on the stat boosts. You also lose out on the happy brain chemicals from seeing the "skill up" alert.
There's none as of now, though I've had been mass farming rune orbs for instant skill levelup, absolutely essential for leveling skills above 100.
Maybe x128 multiplier cheat would help lol.

I downloaded XP on dialup when it came out. Overnights for like a week. cuz I couldn't tie up the phone line during the day. It was so awesome and worked so great going from ME to XP. -
