Very doubtful especially since its 6.20 and not there beloved 7.xx Fws

I don't know why I thought that was the latest firmware. Guess I don't play my ps4 enough
I'll bet Sony will still try to contact him and talk him out of it though. A bunch more games will be easily playable (including RDR2), so they would have incentive to curb the added piracy scope that a 6.20 kxsploit would entail.

Let's hope this drives more homebrew activity to the PS4.
This does not mean a exploit is releasing anytime soon. It probably means he has has something on 6.20 and going on his terrific past history on vita scene he will most likely release it when the time is right. We all know PS4 is exploited in private up to 7.02 but the devs in possession of that have no intention of releasing anything yet. All I want to do is explore PS2 emulation further as the PS4 has bags of potential and there are ppl waiting to dump PS2 emu templates that have not been done yet.
Out of curiosity and because I suddenly have some money left over due to a cancelled skiing holiday: are there still any guaranteed 6.20 PS4s available? How old is that version, to begin with?

you're best bet is to find a bundle version, at least that way you can generally find out when it released. I bought a PRO about 3 months ago, I don't remember what firmware it was on. But it was definitely higher than 6.20.
This man will do God's work if he picks up the slack the other devs do not want to approach.

So there's no different between 6.00 and 6.20 exploit wise? Like I'm on 6.00 but have a game that requires 6.20 on the disc. So if I update to 6.20 using the game so I can play it, I'll still be sitting in the green zone for the expected future exploit right? I know just waiting is the safest way to see as it'll be detailed when there's an actual release, but it does make me wonder.
Also any idea if it will be possible to spoof to latest fw to sync trophies/saves etc before doing/installing anything else after an exploit is out? So only legit stuff would be on my system besides whatever I'd need to spoof. I know psn is gonna be a no go, but does that mean mean the whole network, including sync, or just the store/online play?
