Hey!
My N3ds with CFW was bricked and I made a CTR-Transfer. Now I have new nnid and the public localfriendcodeseed_b from the internet on the 3ds. I can play online and do everything like before, but when I try to boot the eshop, I get this error on the bottom screen:
An error occurred (ErrDisp)
Error type: generic
Process ID: 37
Process name: nim
Process title ID: 0x0004013000002c02

Address: 0x00113fe6
Error code: 0xc8804478

Press any button to reboot.

What do I have to do now?

I´m not completely sure which CTR Image I used. I got one with 11.5 and one with 9.2 on my SD. And I was able to make a system update after the CTR-Transfer. Maybe I should say that the old nnid never was unlinked from the 3ds, so maybe it gives an error because the system I use is linked to another ID (but I can login to nnid settings and play online!). And I´ll try the cia-thing in the next days, I´ll tell you.

PS: Have you fixed it

nim is the service that handles some of the online related tasks. Were you banned before? Unbanning with LFCS_B will not allow you to regain eShop access, as during NNID login the console certificate is also checked (and this gets banned along with the LFCS_B), however, it doesn't normally cause an error like this. It might be something particular to doing a ctrtransfer on a banned console.
And if you weren't banned, why use a public LFCS_B?

You can have multiple NNID linked to a console without affecting anything (of course the console will only see one NNID linked per NAND/emuNAND at a time, but the server doesn't seem to look up all the NNIDs linked, it only looks up the one NNID you are trying to log in with, and checks that it's actually linked to that console)

1.: I wasn´t banned
2.: Some day I booted the 3ds as normal, and it sayd it couldn´t mount ctrnand. Then, when I started gm9, I saw that the whole Nand (including LFCS_B) and many files from the SD (including Nand-Backups) were deleted.

And this is why you don't keep your NAND backup on the SD (or at least back it up to a safe location)
If you keep it on the same device, it doesn't count as a backup. A backup needs to be a different physical device (NAS, cloud storage, external drive, different SD card not connected to the device but kept in storage...)
It might just not be possible to use NNID with a LFCS_B that doesn't belong to your console (doesn't match the certificate...) or it's somehow blacklisted from NNID access because so many people are using it (but it's weird that they wouldn't just ban it outright)
I'm not sure anyone has ever tried, as people generally don't use a public LFCS_B until they're already banned. And when you use a public LFCS_B, you're also instructed to remove the NNID from your console (by injecting a blank nnidsave.bin)

What if you remove the NNID, can you access eShop then?

1.: I wasn´t able to save the backup on another device (now I am)
2.: The script says "move fail". Can I delete it manually?

I installed the ACNL 1.5 Update cia (because I can´t reach the eshop) and this should definietly be over 400mps. FBI installed it without any problems, and playing the update also works fine.

Still getting the same error.

Without the SD card inserted in the 3DS, try to launch and visit the eShop. If it crashes, it is probably the 3DS firmware not fixed from your last attempt at CTRTransfer.

I suspect the reason why your first downloaded ctrtransfer image was corrupt is due to a fake or faulty SD card. Did you full Write + Verify your empty card in H2testw; did it pass hardware inspection?

I did it, its still crashing. It seems to be caused of something with the Nintendo Network, because in the loading screen, the nnid should be loaded, the system format doesn´t work too and unlinking the nnid from the system crashes too (after inputting the password in the delete process), but the Nintendo Network settings work normally (?)

I think it´s caused of the way I downloaded it, I used a online torrent client the first time.

Found it: CTRNAND:data/[SYSID0]/sysdata/00010038/00000000

I deleted it and went to NN Settings, the nnid is removed, but Eshop still doesn´t work :hateit:

@Zane_Julien, I'm not familiar with the software bug that you're experiencing with the Nintendo eShop.

If I had to speculate what wrong with your 3DS firmware repair using the CTRTransfer (Type D9) - CTRTransfer, you mentioned the first time downloading the ctrnand image it was found to be corrupt and that you have to redownload the image again.
I
DID
IT
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I DOWNLOADED THE SAME FILE AGAIN BECAUSE D9 SAID IT WAS BROKEN, AND IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From one of the other threads, KleinesSinchen warned you about hardware checking your SD card before trying CTRTransfer.

What guide suggests installing Luma to FIRM partitions for CTRTransfer? And why?!

Chainloader not working usually means problems with the SD (given that SD:/luma/payloads/GodMode9.firm exists). First you have to get GodMode9 started.

Take another SD (or copy everything from your current SD to a computer).
:!: You better not skip the full test before attempting CTRTransfer
  1. Copy all your data (if any) from the SD to a computer. Reformat the SD to FAT32, 32kb cluster size, if bigger than 32GB and using Windows with guiformat.
  2. Check your SD Windows, Linux, OS X.
    • If you get any errors replace the SD.
    • If you get no errors copy your files back on the SD (if any)
Once you have a known good SD at hand, download latest GodMode9 release and put GodMode9.firm into SD:/luma/payloads as well as the gm9 folder into the root of the SD. Holding (Start) at boot brings up Godmode9 if the SD can be successfully mounted/read.

You find the v1.4 CTRTransfer Type D9 script attached to the long and important manual.

If you did not hardware test your SD card, there's a pretty good chance you had a fake or faulty card that corrupted the 1st downloaded ctrnand image and that the n3DS was further softbricked when you did the CTRTransfer(s) on that bad card. The CTRTransfer (Type D9) main page explicitly warns about this danger in step 3 for the Instructions.

  1. Copy everything off your SD card over to a computer.
  2. Reformat the card in [ FAT32 format | 32 KB cluster size | Primary partition | MBR disk ] settings with Windows File Explorer, guiformat if bigger than 32 GB, or MiniTool Partition Wizard (free edition).
  3. Test the SD card for hardware problems; full Write + Verify the empty card with H2testw (Windows), F3 (Linux), F3X (Mac), or SD Insight (Android / Chrome OS).
    • :!: A fake or faulty SD card will cause a secondary brick where the user's setup is permanently corrupted when backed up.

You should go back and follow those steps 1–3 to determine the SD card's hardware condition. If it fails in H2testw, get a replacement card that does passes in H2testw when checked with the card starting empty. Get back to me when you do have good SD card; we may need to perform cross system (CTRNAND+TWLN+TWLP)Transfer to fix this mess.

I moved everything from the SD Card to my PC (and some other files were corrupt too) checked it, repaird it, formatted it in FAT32 and checked it again, and then I copied everything back to the SD (except for the corrupt files). Everything was OK now, no errors anymore (I mean the SD, not the eshop ), and what did you mean fixing with Nand, TWLN and TWLP.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I thought about the first problem again, and I think the last thing I've done was exploring GM9 and selected a button for deleting the extdata FROM THE SD (Don't know why after that half of the SD and the whole Nand were corrupt)

If you used a different program other than [ H2testw / F3 / F3X ], those are not suitable for testing the hardware condition of flash storage. For example, the Window's built-in chkdsk (right mouse click on SD card letter drive → Properties → Error Checking) will scan and correct a SD card's file system but does not tell you if the card is fake or faulty.

***

About the { CTRNAND + TWLN + TWLP }, there is a method of troubleshooting or repairing another person's 3DS firmware by temporarily cloning the (source) system's NAND onto another (target) system of the same [ old | new ] series. None of this would matter if your SD card happens to be bad where it can't reliably hold and transfer data.
