For real, what this guy said. Daco I know you've had issues with this site in the past according to you yourself, but that was ages ago. I'll tell you the same thing I tell DeadlyFoez (who has left gbatemp and refuses to even browse the forum as a vistor), let bygones be bygones. Everybody here loves you for just showing up, enjoy it, be yourselves. I think you rock, and I would like a fresh start. Just wipe the slate clean.

Anyway, keep up the good work. I can't wait for a version that you deem worthy of calling 'final', if there is such a thing!

thats... odd?
did you change anything in the setup except for updating priiloader?
what is your setup anyway?

does anyone know if usbloader gx has logging of some kind explaining why it fails here?
@Cyan ?

im just curious as to why it would fail all of a sudden.

Do you actual use now the last release 1272 of the USBLoader GX or r1271 (because of your Issues with Crap/WiiGSC/Channels yesterday ?
Thank you.:)

I’m using 1272 mod and everything works fine with Priiloader settings on default but if I change anything it won’t find my hd. When I make any changes in Priiloader settings do I have to change the iOS to 251 or 249?

Which setting? I have a hard time wrapping my head around how changing the skin from white to black for example would impact anything

Speaking of which... small feature request @DacoTaco, not really a feature, but anyone else prefer if the default background color was black? Default is white (unless it already changed back, I don't have access to my wii to install and test the latest releases), and I can't stand the white, it's blinding! First thing I have to do after every install is change it to black just to be able to navigate the rest of the settings. Anyway, please don't take this as an insult in anyway, I can certainly live with changing it to black every time and if you prefer white then all good, you more than earned the right to do whatever you please.

Thanks again

Edit:
@laz305 Try changing various settings individually and see if you can determine if a particular setting or two is somehow triggering your issue

@XFlak
The first thing I try and do is Replace Health Screen And then select load install file which is usb loader, doesn’t read hd. But now turned it back on normal and the channel loads fine. So I need to reinstall the wad or dol again? Which one? Do I have to remove it first?

EDIT: ok got it working. I was installing the wad. Installed the dol and works now. Thanks a ton

@DacoTaco This could be an isolated incident, but I updated to 0.9.0 beta 3 and my System menu hacks stopped working. I don't know if it was all of them, but I know at least replace health screen with backmenu and auto press a on health screen were not working. When I downgraded back to 0.8.3 and it all worked again. Might be worth looking into. Let me know if you need any more info about my specific case.

thats odd, afaik we didn't change anything in that.
did you replace the hacks file while updating?
did you enable the logging and seeing what was in the output?
did you check the hacks in 0.9 ?

I did not replace the hacks file, I just downloaded the update through Priiloader and installed it.

I did not check the logs, but I'll upgrade to beta 3 again and if I have the issue I'll check the logs and send them.

I have not used any other beta builds before beta 3, so I don't know if this affects anything else.

i would be great if you could upgrade the priiloader installation to 0.9B3 again and enable the gecko output .
when the gecko output is enabled, start system menu and reset into priiloader again. open the hacks menu , exit out again (don't save) and disable the gecko output.

there should be a prii.log on your SD (or USB if no SD card is inserted) and it will probably give us some information as to what is happening.
i would also like a copy of your hacks.ini on your SD card

Alright. I got the log and hack files. Uploaded them on drop box

This is the log file, and this is the hacks ini file.

that log does not seem right.
it only shows the gecko output to sd being enabled.
no system menu booting information, no nothing.
where did you get that log from? what did you do on your wii?

EDIT : btw, what system menu are you running on that wii?

I went to Priiloader, enabled debugging, went to the system menu hacks, exited without saving, and disabled the output.

Actually, I might have forgot to to boot to the system menu first before launching Priiloader, so I'll try that tomorrow since it's late for me right now.

I'm running 4.3U. While I was getting the log file, I checked beforehand, and it appears that the move disc channel hack doesn't work either, so I think it's safe to say none of the hacks work.

Here's another log file. This time I booted into the system menu before launching Priiloader and kept everything else the same. See if it makes a difference.
