There is a mode 7 project called G-zero for the Sega Genesis. This version doesn´t need extra ram on cart and uses the 16 kb from the main system ram instead.
The "map area" is now 128x128 pixel instead of the 256x256 of the previous mode 7 demos.
Because of this the mode 7 graphics look more pixelated than before.
This enables the possibility to use the extra 16 kb ram to add a 2 player mode with horizontal or vertical splittscreen.
The latest demo is from December 12th 2019.
